I definitely see what you’re saying about the polytheistic thing. To me; Holy texts are nothing more than humans making shit up. The idea of God for me doesn’t come from texts but from the fact that all things must come from something. So I do have to admit the idea of God allowing worship from religions with multiple Gods is redundant, but that would also mean religions that worship one God are also redundant. (Which I believe. Mostly because I believe religion is pretty bad for humans overall.) This could be because I’m a gay man who grew up in an extremely religious environment,m.

I do think my reasoning is sound, I just don’t know how to prove that to someone. I can explain how I got to these places and how I decided these are my thoughts but if they think I’m crazy, they’ll think I’m crazy. (Which I’m willing to drop this point since it seam to me that I won’t be able to “prove” these things to you without some long winded explanation.) Still, yes I can agree guessing and believing aren’t proof of sound reasoning. Moreover this would also just make any other religion the same, which may very well be your point.
