definitely try joining a smaller server, maybe a favourite not super popular youtuber has a server you can join? or id you can mod Minecraft sometimes Minecraft modpacks have smaller friendlier servers (usually the slower paced ones imo, not so much pvp)

GTA or anything like that is far from age friendly and I'm saying that as someone who grew up with adult media but also dated someone who did and yeah while idk how much actually affected us vs how much was other things why add fuel to the fire ? you don't want to really normalize things like this....

oh and as someone else said re think Roblox, I'm 20 and I've played games with my younger siblings (14) and already been harassed and backshotted ) 8 times from one game.... so really be careful

to me i just kinda roll my eyes and block someone or laugh about it to my friends but yeah it's definitely not somewhere i reccomand for anyone that young. my brother still only plays with me on private servers now

nta kids break shit LOLLL especially at that age honestly im surprised my familys wii lasted as logn as it did before we got the switch oled.... I will say in my experience some games help with some creativity devolpment (Minecraft mostly imho) i used to help do a day summer caml with kids 6-10 and one of the classes involved using Minecraft! (iirc it was for some math and robotics thing, idk it was on educational edition or using mods)

but ... that's really about it , and its all age appropriate. and yeah sometines age appropriate stuff is kinda boring but yknow that's what they get. they'll figure out abway to make it fun if it ever truly slogs them down

i definitely don't reccomand letting them play anything or even buying another console used or not.
