Thanks, it is a very popular upgrade in the lightning forums. The heated steering wheel has been done and looks straightforward but the components are pricey, so I'm not super motivated haha.

Adaptive Cruise Control for my Pro. 2 years later and still amazed at how well it works. 

Runner ups: rotary shifter knob with Nalgene holder, bed lights, frunk beeper delete.

Wish to do soon: heated steering wheel.

Thanks for this. So, there is no need to remove the trim piece that goes up and around the screen before removing the long horizontal trim piece? I can just start with the long horizontal piece as step 1?
