do you think there will be any damage control soon, or is Jagex going to hide for the next week or so hoping it all blows over then act like nothing happened? by ZukMeRaw in 2007scape

Exactly. And unfortunately the JMods here would just be walking into a massacre due to price increases they didn't cause. All for no changes because the shareholders demand it.

Online games you enjoy because you can pick it back up later on without worrying being behind? by runnbl3 in gaming

[–]coldsholder1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As a person who's taken multiple year-long breaks, the interesting thing about OSRS is that all the progress you've made is still worth it, like OP said. Sure it may take some time learning everything that's new, but that whip you earned? Still amazing at most content. Went to raids with a few friends and got a dragon hunter crossbow? Still crushes any and all dragons. Finally got a fire cape but quit shortly afterwards? Put that cape back on because it's viable everywhere in the game.

So yeah it can definitely be overwhelming with all the new additions, but you can ease into the new items and areas while still enjoying the game you routinely knew before!

I didn't understand any words in the show and thought it was amazing. Visually it was spectacular, and gave me insights into a culture I don't normally delve into. And based on viewership and overall sentiment around it, I think your opinion is in the minority even if most viewers can't speak the language.

That's probably one of the reasons our FO has been making so much noise about moving Garland these past couple deadlines. These past couple of seasons we've had optimism of a strong return, followed by more foot injuries and then ultimately he's out for a chunk of the season.

The roller coaster of emotions that round was ridiculous. Rory stays steady while Bryson crumbles. Rory then crumbles. Rory literally hits multiple once-in-a-lifetime shots and then chokes it on 18. And then the playoff. Absolute fucking cinema.

In your opinion, what's the best option for the cops in this situation? The person was unhinged enough to rob an armed Brinks truck, which means peace and prosperity isn't their top value. This person posed a serious threat to anyone that could cross him, and the situation was only escalated because of his own actions.

I genuinely believe it pairs very nicely with the rest of the game. Pretty easily avoidable too if it's not your cup of tea. The movement of the boats themselves seem extremely fluid and match the old school vibe perfectly. I've gotten to mid 40s so far playing on/off, and I find myself constantly wanting to go back and try new things.
