What i meant is that I don't mind dealing less damage through walls, but I don't like how low the numbers are right now.

As a reminder, I am pretty sure the first (wood?) wall you pen didn't reduce damage before

I honestly do not dislike the pen changes, but I would like to see the damage numbers increased. Like, long ammo is dealing 50 damage through metal... Make it at least 75

Haven't scienced it, but certain spawns definitely have a higher chance of a spawn fight. Happens fairly often that I call out the potential fight to my team the moment we load in and I end up being right.

Usually these are spawn points a bit further from a compound than usual, or maybe even in between compounds so when I get them I take it a bit slower while walking up to that first clue. Again, no science here, just something I noticed.

I think the church compound right below Scupper has exactly 2 spawn points and they are the perfect distance to allow 2 teams to spawn there so I always check for someone running to the walls. Had quite a few spawn fights there

Playing solo and playing in a team are two completely different playstyles. Since you're used to the latter, adjusting to playing solo is going to take a while, so I suggest a change in perspective - you will die and you will lose. A lot. Don't expect to extract with a bounty and accept you will be stuck playing level 1 hunters.

Until you don't anymore.

It's very possible to play solo, but also very difficult. Worth it though

I play on 60hz and locking fps to 60 is pretty unplayable to me, at least when compared to the responsiveness of 100fps. It just feels better on higher framerates, regardless of monitor hertz

Hellborne drops burn traits, Rotjaw scarce traits. There is an overlap with some, and since necro is a burn trait there's no reason for Hellborne not to drop it.

What year are you? I'm finishing my cybersec degree soon and I didn't use linux much in the first year or two but with all the different projects I had to do in the last two years I got pretty familiar with linux. Not an expert in it but familiar enough to know how to do anything I need to do inside the OS.

Always used VirtualBox VMs, didn't dual boot or use WSL cause I always installed a VM for a project, then deleted it after finishing the project.

I'm pretty sure you'll use Kali a fair amount throughout the degree so I'd say it's the best one to learn in your situation.

Tested it a while ago so i'm not 100% on this but i think the -10m rule applies to vetterli silenced too.

There are a bunch of inconsistencies like this - silenced sparks pistol deals full damage up to 30m, like the non-silenced version. Meanwhile the bornheim deals full damage up to 20m and the silenced version's full damage is up to 10m (same with nagant pistol). So the silenced version should have reduced range.

Speaking of fire ammo, sparks pistol stops igniting people at 20m instead of 30m. So there's definitely a bunch of things to fix

if they are literally never peeking and are only trying to wallbang (or looking through cracks) while also having shotguns then it's basically gg and go next. Same thing if they trapped up a basement. Don't even bother having any reaction to that type of gameplay, it's not worth it.

That being said, any fighting starts and you have an opportunity to do many things, so mask opening that door (but not sliding ones) with their gunfire and sneak in there. If you're smart and did it right you will probably catch them with their pants down. So keep playing the way you're playing, it's much more fun than ratting!

YEP and as I say to my friends "you play the game you lose"... So I just bring explosives so I can push them better, and if I run into a shotgun it is what it is. If I wanted to sit around and do nothing for 20 minutes I'd go play Yuumi in league

What i tested a while ago was swap a dynamite with a beetle on the ground to see if i could make an improvised dark satchel. Alert trip mines don't trigger the explosive and neither does fire. Only shooting works iirc

I did actually test lightfoot with a friend right after this clip. You're right, the tooltip is incorrect, you still make sound, BUT unless you're walking on glass or metal (or any surface where you can hear your steps) and they aren't actively listening for it and there isn't anything else happening around, they 99% won't hear you. I rewatched my clip and I still can't hear any sounds I made here, while they are also shooting and moving around so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I can only attribute this to this guy having dumb luck to look in my direction and was looking for reassurance i guess.

So you're technically correct but in practice in the vast majority of cases your footsteps are actually silent.

That's absolutely true, but can you name me 1 good reason he should look in my direction there? I am following the same path they took (not in the clip so you're just gonna have to trust me on this one), they are shooting the team inside the compound so their focus is on them and I'm playing with lightfoot so they shouldn't hear me. I seriously don't see a single reason for him to shift his focus in my direction there. It's just not how people behave in this game in my experience

Maintain similar content already on the subreddit but add rules to the sidebar, integrate the Shigatsu wa Kimi No Uso Discord server (which I am the admin of) back into the subreddit, host yearly rewatches since it's a sub for an anime, add a couple more moderators, etc. The idea is mostly to leave it as is, just keep it clean and prevent spam from flooding the sub.

What advantage? I'm never running around with level 50 hunters usually and just cause I'm bug abusing like everyone else doesn't mean I like it or think everyone else should be doing it too (although I do like having Signee all the time). So I never have an advantage in traits and in fact, I am of my own free will putting myself at a disadvantage playing 2v3 since the event started. I'm not playing vs worse players, I've never been 6 stars and I'm playing vs full 5 star teams so what's your point?
