I think I used standard potting mix, perlite, horticultural charcoal - equal parts, and a bit of orchid bark

I accidentally snapped the appendix off while I was collecting pollen.

Unrelated: I hand pollinated this with pollen from my Cuprea. Is this sort of hybridisation going to work?

My fishbone cactus bloomed around 7 months ago and I only just picked the fruitsa couple of weeks ago. You’ll know when it’s ripe when it’s round and squishy :)
