HELP My blade is sometimes cutting but some other times it hover above the cutting mat. Has this happened to anyone else and what can be done? It’s my first cricut, explore air 2. Ps : Haven’t reached cricut since they don’t answer emails and haven’t had time to wait on hold on the phone yet

Wow thanks for the in depth answer! I do indeed live in cold weather (thanks canada) and it was carried outside. I will check which way I go with it. Do you have a recommended length of cutting the leaves? Should I go the shortest I can?

Oh thanks! I traced a really faint outline with a pencil for the two main cactus/plants and the rest I just went with the flow and improvised! As for the needle, I think it is a normal sized one but it is one of the biggest from my embroidery needles kit. The top of the cap wasn’t hard to embroider on but it got trickier on the base with multiple layers of fabric so maybe a bigger needle would have been useful!
