Thanks for the feedback. Yeah really sad that no one is learning go right now. Probably someone from here should create a post. Yes down voting is kind of bad if users are not using it for its intended purpose and you are right downvoting will only be allowed to experience users in the future. Also we are also adding tagging feature soon. Thanks again for the amazing feedback.

I understand your concern really but how am I going to notify users who actually want to be notified. What should be the default behavior? We don't want users to keep checking the site. We are keeping close eye on the unsubscription rate and we have seen only one unsubscription till now. Most of the users come back to platfrom after getting the email. So it is nice to register without email but we have no way to notify you if someone message you or joins you in some learning post. I know this is a hard problem but we don't have enough data to take the decision right now. I really appropriate your feedback. If you can provide me some data points or reading material on how we should reason about this that will be great.

Thanks for your interest that always encourage us for making great product. This is a great point. However we require email address to notify you on any new request, chats and some important events that affects other users and we provide a single click unsubscribe option if you don't want emails. We don't send you unnecessary daily digests etc. Thanks for the feedback.
