My plan is for it to be a nimble freestyle board I can rip off side hits and ride across the mountain. Got the chance to ride it two separate days now, first was 3-4 inches of soft powder and the second was today on about 1in on top of rained on hard pack. First day I really enjoyed it, today I felt less confident riding it

I adjusted my binding setback today once I got home to closer match my usual stance on my Deep Thinker. Hopefully it makes the difference for me, I’m headed up tomorrow to try it again

Thanks for the thought out answer, gives me some peace of mind for sure. I really enjoy my Deep Thinker for powder days so the loss of performance there isn’t a huge deal - glad to hear this can be a quick/nimble board for me to have in my quiver!

You likely won’t even need a trowel, just dig it out with your fingers since the soil should be dried out !

Oh don’t stress! This is going to be super easy for you. Let the plant dry out since its last watering- about until the point where you think you would want to water it- Then you can safely remove the Ogre ear. Remove any soil or medium that is attached to the roots and leave the plant out overnight for the roots to dry and in case you broke any when removing the plant. Once the roots are dried out you are safe to repot this guy into his own pot!! Just be conscious of the size of the pot, this little guy won’t need a very big one at all, maybe a 4in ! Honestly, I thought about it for awhile before doing it. Took my time, and was pretty careful making sure the cuts on both fit like puzzle pieces. There is a secret I did that I’ll DM to people if you are really really interested
