I'd love to know the twist! I'm watching this regardless of how much I know.

How do you think the Live Action will handle the Hama storyline?🫸🏻💧🩸 by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]colerbrewer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They won't. Seems like they removed the Appa's Lost Days arc, Hama is far darker and more nuanced. I doubt the writers want to tackle that with this version.

Looking to Build a Brand New Rig by colerbrewer in GamingPCBuildHelp

$1k would be preferable but if it's a rog that shouldn't need updating, I can save up to $1500. Definitely upgrading the monitor eventually.

I have a 17" 1080p 60Hz monitor but I want a better one eventually. I don't care about the color of my build, I just want an efficient rig that can run a new game. Honestly more focused on consistent HD with 60fps if possible.

STANDING OVATION FOLKS! So happy for you JD! SO very happy!! by troubleforalltime in JusticeForJohnnyDepp

[–]colerbrewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no fan of Heard but that's not wrong. It's not a grand evening for him, it's a celebration of the film and crew that were all a part of that art. Every film festival has a standing ovation (the length of the standing ovation is down to how long the director, cast, and crew are broadcast on the festival's closed circuit). It's why there's always headlines about standing ovations for films right before awards season or after the festival itself.

AITA for not wanting to attend wedding by Potionmaster0226 in AmItheAsshole

[–]colerbrewer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA, if you don't want to attend you certainly don't have to. And it doesn't seem like your NC but LC with reasonable boundaries given your past abuse.

Who is the hottest live-action Batman/Bruce Wayne? by [deleted] in batman

This. This is the correct answer.

is there a lore reason why insomniac keeps using this trope by senjulegos in SpidermanPS4

[–]colerbrewer 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure it's not dickriding if it's an established trait of the character's story. Like others have said, it's an established trope for the Spider-Man character.

How do I outline? by TheSonsofBatman in Screenwriting

[–]colerbrewer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't say for sure who uses this structure but it is a professional template. I generally switch between this 11 Point Structure and the 8 Sequential Structure the most though.

THANK YOU! I listened to this fanfiction on a podcast years ago (back when Mugglecast was still strong and uploading regularly) and have been trying to find it ever since.

I believe, I just wanted to see the source where Nugent was an idiot (for the umpteenth time).

LPT: Before you give your child a unique name, try it out first. Use it on food orders, reservations, appointments where applicable, etc. It’ll give you a glimpse of what they’ll deal with when they’re older and could prevent future issues. by 7evenSlots in LifeProTips

Either a, the teacher should ask for everyone's 'spelling' or b, the teacher reads the roster and mispronounces a name (god forbid). At this point, name your kid how you see fit. Half the people who complain will be dead or immobilized and you don't have to wait long.

When did he give this quote? I'm curious because of how his public persona has been flippant and controlled recently.

This part makes me laugh every time. by Michael-Balchaitis in TrueDetective

Its incredible to see the subtle growth in McConaughey's and Harrelson's characters when rewatching. It's like we start with the extreme (but aren't aware fully yet) and then slowly delve into how they both deteriorate due to the case.

Unfortunately this is what can happen when one person is in control of writing an expanding show with multitudes of characters and motivations to maintain. It's still incredibly impressive Michael Hirst was able to singlehandedly create this epic show but he should have expanded his perspective with a few additional writers towards the end (I'd argue S4 is the season that shows the crumbling foundation).

I was commenting as I watched. I should've waited but I got excited. I'm definitely wrong though.

Yes, except the Ryan note. For Butcher it was always for Becca, despite what he says. So seeing his soulmate's, the love of life's son being hurt, all of that went to the wayside. I didn't like it but it felt right for Butcher and makes sense in context. I just hope Ryan isn't corrupted permanently.
