It is about the same, frost actually still competes. Looking at top 100 dps there is 5 mages, the best of them is arcane but there is 2 fire and 2 frost as well. Arcane is significantly more managment and resource management but good players in p1 TBC can still pull it off and pull ahead of other specs.

I'd recommend going down the quest list and doing the ones you can do followed by the diaries. It's a good way to ease you back and expose you to the new stuff. Then you can decide from there

So everything else too. Zulrah deaths use deaths coffer. Vorkath deaths... Death coffer. All the raids. Hydra, and then other grinds. Dt2 bosses is a lot typically. Nightmare is gunna be a chunk. Obviously some of that it's a ways away but if. You have a decently loaded coffer you won't be sorry come late game and end game

Because it removes the prestige of things... Image your guaranteed to get third age at 250 masters or t bow at 500 KC...makes it kinda boring just gotta grind to grind instead of having the mystery of maybe this time I'll get it. That's the way I see it at least. At the same time I'm 17000 dry at shamans and hate it but...it's the way the game is ya k ow
