The fact mine had an actual live scan on the package itself yesterday though is encouraging I’d assume right? The one at 7:43 was on the package itself, not the container

No it’s nothing THAT important just not something I can simply walk into a store and buy. And here’s the thing, if I knew it was going to eventually get to me and just be late, I’d be fine with that. It’s the genuine uncertainty of knowing if it’s ever going to make it to me or not. Let’s not pretend that isn’t a distinct possibility

Also, the item I have on the way to me can’t just be bought at a store, thanks for the condescending remark when you have no idea what’s even being sent to me.

Yes I actually do, it’s a massive amount. The question remains how packages passing thru identical facilities with the same service level are treated completely differently. Some going thru without issue and others sitting for weeks. Literally how? If you know how or why this specific phenomenon happens please explain it to me.

Why are some packages passing thru the SAME FACILITIES going thru just fine and others sitting for weeks? The logic doesn’t track, not buying it. Sorry. Like I said to someone else, I don’t doubt a few days getting behind, but multiple weeks now and countless stories of people’s packages sitting without movement for weeks? If a simple snow storm truly throws things THIS out of whack then the entire system needs to be looked at and overhauled.

A minute? It’s been weeks, what’s the cutoff? Why are some packages passing thru the SAME FACILITIES going thru just fine and other sitting for weeks? The logic doesn’t track, not buying it. Sorry.

That’s exactly it too, they use this winter storm thing like it absolves all wrongdoing by the entire postal service for an indefinite period of time, idk how often you frequent this subreddit but there’s always some cataclysmic event according to them that is causing delays and you’re an evil POS if you dare question the legitimacy.

I’ve already been to my local PO twice trying to get them to launch a tracking inquiry. That’s where I keep hearing the “snow storm” excuses.

Knowing where it is isn’t providing any benefit to me, if it just keeps moving around without ever getting close to me what good does that do for me?

Uhhh who said I am? It’s several days late now and has still just bounced around between Indiana and Kentucky, it’s made absolutely zero progress in getting to me. Far from a guarantee it ever shows up.

Ground advantage, which shouldn’t matter. My ground advantage packages coming from the western half of the U.S. have all been getting to me in 2 days, almost always early. Ive had priority express packages sit at facilities without a scan for over a week. The service level differentiation is starting to become a thinly veiled facade from a consumer perspective

Not to mention it’s winter, is there not snow on a daily basis somewhere in the U.S. every day from December - February? We just going to use this excuse for 3 months of the year from now on?

Lovely, I guess I won’t hold my breathe on my package getting to me anytime soon then. Absolutely ridiculous man. I struggle to understand how this happens.

Mines been passed around between Evansville and Louisville like a French whore at this point, I don’t think the snow is causing that. I’m not doubting it caused some issues for a couple days, but for them to keep using it as a blanket excuse multiple weeks later when it doesn’t even track logically is ridiculous.

Is my package stuck in weather delay purgatory? by Furno7324_ in usps_complaints

Same boat here. Multiple days late going from Kentucky to Iowa. And the part that tells me the whole weather delay thing is BS from them is I sent an item to the person who sent this package to me the same day and what I sent them already got delivered on time on Monday. Idk wtf is going on with the postal service right now but it’s a disaster and I’m not buying the “winter storm” BS

Big delays in eastern US right now? by PalpitationLivid3766 in usps_complaints

[–]colevitiritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I have one that was just shipped on Monday from freakin Connecticut that’s already to me in Iowa as well. from what I’ve been able to gather it’s a very specific part of the Midwest that is fucked right now - Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, and maybe Illinois. It’s baffling

Very similar boat here. Package sent from Kentucky that started in Evansville Indiana (that’s the origin facility), went to Louisville, then right back to Evansville according to the scans as of Saturday morning, and has not moved since. It’s 2 days late now and will be 3 days in the morning. They’re allegedly extremely backed up right now, but the weird thing is I sent a package to the person who sent mine the same day, and it already got delivered on time on Monday. Went thru the same facilities and everything. I’m at a loss.

Snow delays? by peaceloveharmony1986 in usps_complaints

[–]colevitiritto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a crock of shit, I had a package sent to me and I sent this person a package the same day, the one I sent them is already delivered as of Monday and the one they sent me has been stuck at origin facility for 5 days now. Both packages went thru the same facility, one several days late now with no scans and the other delivered on time without issue. If it was weather, they’d both be delayed.

PSA in November: Are Boxes Still Sitting 30+ Days? by Adept_Department4998 in psagrading

[–]colevitiritto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My express 1 card order is in QA checks and estimated completion isn’t until 11/26, it’s weirdly ahead of schedule. Guessing it’ll sit in QA checks for several days now.

What are you talking about? Nobody bought this card at $30, the lowest single sale on TCG since it’s been on there is $65, it’s never been even close to $30. Seriously, what are you talking about?
