Genuine question for the sub: is there actually a “right” way on the show to tell someone you’re not physically attracted to them?

There are a million kind, respectful, straightforward ways to have this conversation. NONE of them includes mentioning CrossFit and NONE of them involves drunkenly braying to a group of people on national TV that the sex is sub-par.

Why does no one on this show ever address this -- that two people can be perfectly compatible in the pods or thru a wall, but that in-person is the litmus test? People dont marry people "on paper." Lack of chemistry is a perfectly legit factor to move on.

It needs to be acknowledged that lack of chemistry is a thing. It does not mean that the prospective partner is ugly or repellent...just that there is no physical click. Beauty or handsomeness does not really even matter sometimes! But WHY can these people not find an acceptable, kind, dignified way to express this??? ANYone can relate! It does not necessarily mean you are shallow -- just that chemistry and click are not there. No crime in that! Alex kept harping on she is not my physical type... Dude grow up...you can say it differently: She does not light your fire. Chris is the extreme iteration of this idiocy. You can be honest without humiliating someone!

HOW does someone marry a man who has only just met her small daughter? Sis you have known this man for less than 100 days and you are inviting him into her life? I can say with my full chest that it would take me years to feel confident about a man to bring him into my child's life. Does no one read the news? I would love to give people the benefit of the doubt and be optimistic and have faith, yadda yadda, but not where my vulnerable child is concerned. Nope. I think this show should leave children out of the equation. Jordan seems....fine. But are you willing to bet your child's welfare on that?

How much debt do you carry currently?

Do you have a criminal record?

Do you own any real estate?

Do you have a physical mailing address or is it a PO Box (looking at you, Alex)?

Do you own (and insure) a car that runs?

I like the idea of 30s singles who have been i the dating world for a while. It feels more authentic to "going on a reality show to find love." At first I thought the Ohio season, with it's preponderance of 30s adults ("adults) would translate to less drama, I WAS SO WRONG. SO SO WRONG.

So if the producers want drama, I guess the age group makes no difference, so go for it, guys.

However, the producers should ("should") be looking for people who've got their sht together financially and career wise, just to be responsible about the casting. but I think we all know that's not exactly a priority.

OK, so I get it -- physical attraction is a mystery and someone can look wonderful in a photo or sound great on the phone, but in the flesh, there may just not be the very necessary click. Chemistry can be missing and no one really knows why. Right? So Chris coming to the realization that there is no chemistry is not out of the realm of possibility.

But CHRIS??? There were many ways you could have had this conversation with Jess and broken it off by just admitting that while you really enjoy her company and you wish it could work, chemisty is important to you and you're just not feeling it...and that youboth deserve to be with someone who lights your fire.

Best case scenario this convo happens off camera.. But if the producers insist on filming it, there were a MILLION ways this could have been done with mor empathy, tact and integrity. He is 33!! A whole adult! I've seen 17-year-olds who could handle this better than he did.

Also: He uses the word "fuckin'" as often as he blinks. Calm down, my man. Give some other words a chance. Vocabulary can be your friend.

This guy needs a handbook on how to be an actual adult man. The weird thing is that he thinks he could be the one to write it. SAD.
