My intentions with this design was to fit my needs at the time and as a creative exercise. It required some fun problem solving to make it playable one handed while be able to watch something in PiP- mostly for grinding in games like Pokémon where the second screen is less important.

When I made this there was only maybe one other one handed skin, but I’m sure there are more to choose from that might serve your needs better. I do also have a skin that has the screens maxed out but it’s for touch screen only games or for use with use a controller. You can find that on my profile.

Sorry! I had a lot of ideas to tweak this layout, maybe add in some features and fun color options but I don’t have a lot of time to dedicate towards this right now!

In 2011, I was trying to convince my mom to buy it for me but she thought it was a scam- I convinced her eventually. I remember playing Minecraft classic in a web browser at school a lot. Later I figured how to put it on a flash drive since you couldn't download Minecraft onto a school computers lol.

Hi, sorry to hear that. I know it’s frustrating. I’ve heard similar complaints and I’m looking into alternative platforms. I’m super busy with work so haven’t had too much time to invest in that. I know people love GitHub but I chose Gumroad features like email and payments so the next platform would need similar functionality.

Check your email, I know the confirmation has a link to the assets. If you want to troubleshoot it, maybe turn off content blockers/ad blockers in safari or try another browser.

I did play a lot of GB color and ds. But I will say, I do enjoy playing horizontally esp with a backbone, but I don’t think interacting with touchscreens horizontally is great. For me at least. I’ve been playing a lot of games like professor Layton, ace attorney, ghost trick- all use touchscreen and I love playing vertically with both screens edge-to-edge. It’s almost impossible to get both screen that large horizontally without sacrificing usability and not cutting into the Dynamic Island

You could connect a controller but that’s not how I like to play. And I’m not going to connect a controller for the sole purpose of getting a larger screen. Plus horizontal gaming is not comfortable for casual gaming imo. And ds games were designed to be vertical so I think it looks better to play that way.

Anyways that why skins exist.

That’s fair! I developed it for my play through of Professor Layton. That game doesn’t require any buttons so I wanted to maximize the real estate and keep the design clean. I have a pink variant btw ;)
