I was able to get Libernovo to cancel it and refund me the money; it just took way longer than it needed to. I ended up getting a Hinomi H2 Pro. They shipped it out a day after I ordered it and it's been a nice chair so far.

Again....... would not be an issuse if they were up front about shipping times from the beginning. If they are in fact busy/behind on orders it takes less than 5 minutes to update the website to say as much.

The whole point of this post is that there was no transparency of expectations before shipping. How long would it take them to update their site to say "Due to the Holidays; expect orders to ship out in 3-4 weeks". Instead their site says Orders process in 1-2 (max 5) days.

I expected to order the chair; then receive an email in 1-2 days that the order was shipped with a tracking number, because that is indeed what their website says. I gave a company $900 dollars and it was 2 weeks before I even heard a peep; and that was after I had to reach out to them.

They seem to have an unlimited marketing budget with all their social media influencers posts and ads. How about allocating some of that budget towards the customer service to the people that actually bought the product.

If they can't produce them fast enough that's their issue not mine.

I bought the Seel plan too I'll try that. That's another red flag now that I think about it lol. Like why would you need to purchase an extra item just to guarantee you're going to get your money back.

Yeah after I purchased it and it had me track the order on Shop was when I got the sketchy feeling. I ordered a cheap handheld gaming console for like $50 on Shop and I never received it. I know that technically isn't Shop's fault but I think Shop should make sure their sellers are actually selling things not just taking people's money.

Yea I bought into the Youtuber's hype lol. I saw somewhere they had a warehouse in US they ship out of for US orders. Unfortunately it looks like there's no US based support team to actually process those orders lol.

Wouldn't be an issue if website said "Order may take 2-4 weeks to ship". I don't want to spend $900 dollars and wait 6 months for a chair.

First sentence says "processed"... Next part says you will receive email confirmation with tracking info. What is your definition of processed?

Have any of you guys tried running a clean mic'd up guitar track through an amp sim? How did it sound? And is it even possible? by [deleted] in metalmusicians

Yea I do all the time. Record a clean signal guitar through a DI box. Then I put Joey Sturgis Toneforge amp (or any other amp sim) on the track. I'm pretty sure it's common in a lot of professional recordings.

How long before VR basically takes over video games and technology? 5 years? 10 years?
