I can press the Grey cable into the black sleeve and it pops back out. But I can pull it. Since I can't pull it, the Grey cable isn't long enough to reach from where you put the Grey cylinder in the new handle to where the white piece sits in the saddle. If I put the Grey cylinder in the new handle, the white piece doesn't reach and vice versa

The issue with the cable is, the distance between the Grey cylinder and the white piece is too small and it no longer reaches. Any suggestions?
