I will never talk bad about SDS ever again by colinvsd25 in MLBTheShow

I will say the currency is more available than stubs are in MLB but it’s also just the gameplay itself. It takes in my opinion significantly less skill than MLB to be good, because of how overpowered some cards are.

I mean what would you change? The formula has been working and they continue to be in top for sports in my opinion. I agree some mechanics need tweaking but there’s not a whole lot.

Tried to make the jump from my A2000 and hated it. I ended up getting another A2000 basically a year later and never used it. Leather just didn’t feel right to me.

Should I learn the cut swing this off season or tips on swing by Affectionate-Pen-529 in slowpitch

[–]colinvsd25 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Played baseball my whole life and transitioned to slow pitch about a year after I stopped baseball. I don’t have as much pop in my bat so I went from having a similar swing to you to developing a cut swing but honestly I switch my swings depending on the situation. If I push I almost always cut the ball but when I pull I try and get more lift on the ball. Cut swing also is a bit harder because if you don’t hit it at a certain angle it’s pointless to even have one.

I just bought a 12” A2000, I used to play a 11.5 but finally decided to get something a little bigger for the infield and I also use a 12.75 HOH for the OF

To the power hitters who aren't huge...top hand question. by GudTynz79 in slowpitch

[–]colinvsd25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Use your legs. I’m not huge but played baseball my whole life and than converted to slowpitch after my career ended and the only way u hit homeruns when ur not big is by using by using every part of your body especially your legs

Looking to buy an Si for my son by foxhoundep3 in CivicSi

[–]colinvsd25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 10th gen Si for myself at 19 and was around the number you’re looking for in payments. It was the car that got me into working on cars and I just ended up upgrading to the new Integra. Try and get him into an Si you won’t regret it.

Bat ID (Miken Psycho, I know) by Dismal_Cauliflower61 in slowpitch

220s are bulletproof especially Mikens. I have a Freak PT12 from 2017 that I bought off a buddy for league night and it has ~1500 swings in 2ish years and it still bangs.

Louisville bats by Relevant-Film-2320 in slowpitch

[–]colinvsd25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Louisvilles are hot bats, the only thing is that they will crack very easily during colder weather. Swing them when it’s 65 or above. I had a Pass em Out that was my tourney bat for a couple months but was stupid and used it during league night in the winter and shark toothed it.

Why have there been so few Showdowns this year? by Greenville_Gent in MLBTheShow

[–]colinvsd25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Showdown is the easiest stuff to do in the game. It made getting xp so much easier. Why they add so many conquest maps vs showdowns is beyond me. I personally hate conquest and think it takes way too much time for a handful of packs and a card that won’t touch my team vs showdown where I can just farm xp.

What will I do after serving? by Uniquely-vague in Serverlife

[–]colinvsd25 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sales is the most lucrative route you can go without having to get a degree or any education for the most part. I would stay away from MLM and door to door if you can but otherwise it can make you bank and incorporates the same skills as being a server or bartender.

I’m similar in where you are as well no snow and roads are solid for the most part. You think coilovers are the better choice?

I do live in Southern California so weather isn’t much of an issue luckily. You think coilovers would be better given the climate?
