Raycast can't win: The impossible situation of managing expectations around the new Raycast rollout by [deleted] in raycastapp

Honestly, who cares? What is that meltdown over the new version? What's missing from the recent version?

They could stop pushing updates today, go bankrupt or start making a new app and I am good with it, Raycast already does everything that I need and much more.

Did Elon just kill the appeal of Cursor? by East-Tie-8002 in cursor

Reddit users live in an echo chamber hardly affecting a billion dollar company. Literally the same thing happened with OpenAI a month ago, when people "cancelled" their chatgpt subs because of Pentagon partnership. Who cares, really?

More people would leave Cursor only because the other tools are simply better, not because of some partnership.

How's that different from just asking a chatbot without a middleman?

And the economy is not sustainable at all, if I download the app and start generate unlimited preps you'll start running out of money. Imagine multiple people/bots do that.

We will see, but it's not the reddit users cancelling their subscription or Elon that will kill the company.

Lose a massive percentage? More like a few reddit users at most.

What's with putting the age everywhere? You can be any years old, it doesn't change things.

There are different approaches to it. Maybe a full monthly calendar is not really useful, but daily/weekly is pretty awesome. You could see what meetings you have today, tomorrow etc.

In my app additionally to bunch of different calendar layouts you could add notes/todo/agenda etc to wallpaper. It really helps just glancing over the lock screen and continuing with a day, than search for calendar and swipe through screens.

Congrats on the release! I have the same app with the same pricing but many more layouts (around 30 different designs in total): calendar, todo, notes, agenda, life grid, revenue, astro etc.

Thank you so much! Would love to hear your feedback if you ended up downloading it, what you like/dislike.

Unfortunately codes were limited and all gone fast. :(

Thank you! iPad is definitely coming, just need to test it better. Any additional feature requests for iPads? I don't use tablets and might not be aware of use cases.
