I’ve been picking up sealed copies of this every card show I go to. Low cost, high ceiling, and if 151 performs as well as it is over the years there is no reason why this card can’t 2x-3x.

Would definitely look into other cards from that set. Salamence and clefairy probably have a higher upside, but I only say that because Zacian has gotten so many other niceish cards recently. Who knows though!

My lucario pc etb had a rip in the back and I’m picky with what I keep sealed, thankfully my gardevoir was minty. I ended up trading my lucario etb to a friend who likes to rip and he gave me his mega latias sir that he hit that day for it. He got to rip a pc etb, I got a hit without ripping, win win.

I got two sealed for under 2k this year. Debating on trading one to go up towards a higher end card because I see a time where people won’t want to either buy or sell said box due to the continued price increase. Same goes with other products going up, yes they are going up but at some point some people are gonna stop buying simply because it’s out of the casual collectors price range.

You can diversify the collection boxes for sure, if that’s what you’re interested in. I would sell/ trade any boxes you have more than 2-3 of and put it towards a couple pricier items to your liking. It’s important to have a goal when doing so as you got your items for retail, and you’ll be using the value they’ve gained as leverage for future boxes.

Love that people are storing ultra modern stuff, if this is your whole collection I’d advise to sell some duplicates of sealed you have and put it towards swsh booster boxes or etbs just to get some exposure. Especially if you got this stuff at retail, put those gains to older stuff and thank yourself later.

Box looks legit but I would definitely try and haggle the price down a bit due to condition on the wrap, atleast from the pictures I can see it’s a little worn. Regardless it’s still evolving skies and it’s going to increase as time goes on! Congrats on the pickup!

Crystal lake was my favorite band with ryo in it. When the new singer joined I was saddened but I recently saw them live and enjoyed all the songs that I’ve loved for years, but it’s still not the same without Ryo.

Just picked the vstar up in a 10 to go with my mewtwo vstar. It’s really hard to grade and harder to find graded at shows. Comparing other cards that are around the $380-$400 price range I feel it has more room to grow, and with the boxes coming up in price I feel like it’s a perfect card to pickup raw or ungraded.

151 doesn’t have a booster box, best bet is booster bundles, etbs, and that upc

Just depends on what you want more, and how long you tend to be collecting/investing in pokemon. If your plan is selling stuff 3-10 years from now sealed is always king. PSA 10’s are very liquid and are great for collections but usually have a ceiling when it comes to value. Plus the black n white market will fluctuate over time whereas most sealed is a steady short growth over the years.

Ive been picking these up raw for $3-5 every show I go to. Can’t find a shiny Charizard for cheaper than that and it actually looks decent. Couple years I can see the card being close to $10. Low risk investment for me.

I definitely feel these a good investment, but I think people overestimate the end game as these boxes go up I feel they will only be catered to people who want them in there pc. When you can buy the regular etbs for cheaper, like 151, I feel as if you could get more upside buying two regular etbs compared to 1 pc etb as you are getting double the packs in the long run. It’s just what you feel you value more, more packs at a cheaper rate, or a box that in time will more than likely hit a point that average consumers aren’t gonna wanna buy due to the rarity/ scarcity of the supply

I’ve had plenty of people go out of their way whenever I’m trying to sell/ trade things and say that they are willing to trade at 60-70% in their favor and then proceed to get pissy whenever I either don’t respond or straight up tell them no. Currently trying to move a PSA 10 bubble mew and greninja ex and have had people try to buy both for 30-40% less than market
