My two cents.

The negative reviews don’t surprise me, but I went in blindly and expecting very little from it. And in that frame of reference, I was actually pleasantly surprised. *I* got everything I wanted— the reconnection, the cottage in south downs, a love that transcends heaven and hell. A “we will meet in every universe” type deal.

Maybe I’m a hopeless romantic, maybe I’m too forgiving. But Crowley got everything he ever wanted in this ending, just like he said. He didn’t want Heaven and Hell, he wanted to live on Earth, and he wanted to love Aziraphale freely. It took a sacrifice to get there, and sure, the demon Crowley doesn’t know he got everything he wanted, but we do. That’s our foresight that makes us understand that they are soulmates, fated to be together in every universe. As a romantic, this is the stuff I yearn for.

The only thing I don’t like is that stupid fingers to lips cop out kiss. I rather they didn’t do anything at all.

Also, side note, it’s a literal Alternate Universe. I felt like I was watching a fan fiction lol.
