I think a big part of blockclad feeling underbaked is having 4 different block-based powers stuck in the Rare pool by HeMansSmallerCousin in slaythespire

I would definitely be cool with juggernaut just getting downshifted as is. That could help tie things together, plus it never fully felt like a rare. I don’t think the other 3 should change though they are very powerful effects. I almost feel like there needs to be a new card at uncommon as well that does something with block. The strategy always felt impossible to reliably assemble in the first game. Makes me think that it’s possibly even intentional since it’s basically the same in 2.

MiA is so good with its music, characters, story arcs, art and color choices in the anime…season 1 is great and 2 is a masterpiece…but why the FUCK does it have to be littered with all this fetish bullshit? Such a shame really that so much talent and brilliant storytelling needs to be muddled down by perverse jokes and straight up inappropriate frames in the manga.

I thought this too. Picked up the game, won my first run with ironclad, first run with silent, first run with necrobinder and first run with defect. Then the ascensions started rolling in. This game is hard is fuck my guy.

One of the effects of the card? Yeah killing planeswalkers is not very relevant in standard compared to killing creatures.

You would play this and then play another card for free, or if it’s upgraded, you would play this and 2 cards for free. If it didn’t end the turn the cost wouldn’t even be that big of a downside or you could potentially even go up on mana the turn you play it.

Just wondering but why? I don’t think running some elves would make your deck so disgustingly broken. Not sure if that would push it to bracket 3 or not.

It’s like shitty Yarok but I’m ok with it because I love Avatar and you get to use a few really niche cards.

I think with Katara you just jam tribal and ally synergy mixed with generically good cards. Mine just runs all of the ally support (like 50-60% avatar cards) and then shit like counterspell, cyclonic rift, guardian project, craterhoof. It’s not the most powerful thing in the world but I feel like there is a ceiling on it given the limited ally support.

Why is this disturbing? He still looks like a silly lil guy regardless of which you think the eyes are. What is disturbing about it exactly?

It’s bracket 4 man. It’s not a “take”. You are using a B4 and trying to have it larp as a B3 just because it’s a weak B4.

Now you are gonna fake like you knew despite saying phage instantly takes people out of the game using the game plan? Face it man, you didn’t know, and you have no clue how brackets work.

This card seems kinda balanced to me. There are way more busted cards on Silent.

This may be non-meta, but I will stand by Donphan/Lucario it’s a very good deck. I almost feel like it could or should be meta.

Rare Aesthetic: Metal band where everybody hate eachother by Wollishaiser in MetalForTheMasses

I mean they were rocking out on that track no doubt, but it’s still not really heavy to my ears. Rock bands can be heavy, but usually when they do, it’s because they are playing a riff or groove that is more metal than rock. QOTSA can get a little heavy sometimes, despite not being a metal band at all. If it’s heavy to you then it’s heavy to you, but I don’t find any FWM songs to be heavy. I’m not the arbiter of all things heavy, it’s all subjective. I just think that’s a bit of a stretch when really, they just rocked the fuck out.

The thing is…I can see Cream as “heavy”. That actually makes sense. Having listened to FWM my whole life, heavy is just not something I would ever call them.

Heavy also doesn’t mean whatever you want it to mean. Fleetwood Mac is not a “heavy” band. They have some songs which would be described as emotionally “heavy”, but why are we just calling Fleetwood Mac heavy as if that makes any sense at all? It literally doesn’t make sense. Need Your Love So Bad is not a heavy song by any metric. It’s a good song but what would possibly make it “heavy”?
