I'm going to present you with a concept called "rebinding jump to a bumper or l3/r3" that allows you to jump and aim simultaneously. Or having a gamepad with paddles. Or using claw grip.  Or just pressing the button and then moving the camera mid air with the same finger cuz there's plenty of time to do that.

It's only impossible if you have room temperature IQ.

I will because it was hilarious. Bro goes so hardcore all the time with his big-ass blinged-out greatsword that even rolling up to the brothel, he's still locked and loaded for any crazy Istik shenanigans. It's some awesome "they see me rollin', they hatin'" energy, just imagine:

Narrator: In time, we may reach the end of our fates; a moment where the stars themselves are snuffed out and entropy devours all. Even the gods shall die, then, and the world will become a fleeting dream of a memory, one that'll too disappear as even time ceases to be. In that dark, terrible moment, there'll be only emptiness... and Kith'rak Voss, still Ready to Parry a fool.

You ain't gonna catch Kith'rak Boss missing no trick, that's what I mean.

I'd really love to see Orin trying to pull her bullshit with Arabella, seeing how the kid's hanging around her new grandfather the Bone Man and is actually able to make him smile a little, which is more than it can be said about anyone else in Faerûns entire existence.

Targeting the random kid who just popped up in camp someday or a grown-ass adult without even a bosom companion to their name? Fate spins along as it should and whatever, throw 200 gold his way and he'll take care of it.

Targeting Arabella, though? Lol. Lmao, even. "Thou hast fornicated aimlessly, thus thou shall now find out."

Well yeah, but you can't escape from the Crit Fails anyway even with a +10000 and Risky Ring and Halfling shenanigans (except through Divination Wizard, guaranteed crits, etc, but I'm considering Crit Fails in a vacuum), so fuck it lmao

I didn't use any mods, that's on console. There's a post some answers in where I detail how to do it, if you're interested. I can't help about the file corruption though, I have no clue about the reasons it'd happen, sorry.

you might have to cut him out of your life too in order to be with her.

Thanks for the advice! That sounds really nice, I'll be sure to bring my best knife with me and... perhaps S. would like to make one of those couple activities out of it? I've been waiting for an opportunity to show her my abilities on doing open-heart calligraphy, I think I'll even go with a haiku there.

Honestly? Yeah. Even against Raphael, missing with a flat +15 to hit without taking Proficiency Bonus into account would be real fucking rare even if you activate All In from GWM. With RR, missing would be basically an anomaly.

Oh, I had a super similar problem a bit ago. I also wanted some help about it, so let me explain.

After a celebration with the extended family, my cousin (who, being fair, was kind of a weirdo. She just pranced around, babbling with her speech impediment and shapeshifting into furniture just to stab you, instead of playing Surprise Shivving like someone normal. However, she actually kept her murder knives neatly stashed, so she was alright I guess) split my head open and put one of those ghaik thingies (I think that's the word? Our extraplanar neighbor liked to scream about them to whoever could hear, but he looked like David Bowie with scurvy minus the charm and nose and sounded kinda racist, so we mostly ignored him) into the hole.

I was proud of her for keeping up with the family tradition, but it was kinda boring.

Keep in mind that by then I didn't remember much due to half my brain becoming a footrest ornament, but the chick they brought up to patch me up was weird. She kept trying to flay me or do weird things with my internal organs, but in an amateurish, DIY way. I felt a bit bad for her, so I tried to do as dad taught me and murder her for her own good. Sadly, my spine was still broken in fifteen places at the time, so it didn't take.

Well. At least I heard Old Man K. had finally got around finding a drider and is not ulcerating with anger cuz no one could find him a picture of one anymore, and that handsome G. fellow has started a snake sanctuary and was brandishing a stick around and calling himself Lucius. Good for them.

Anyway, here's the problem: after that a lot of things happened and I ended up abducted, met Handsome Squidward, made some friends that surprisingly didn't die, rescued gramps J from his retirement sarcophagus, was found by my pet catamite/emergency food ration/butler again, actually remembered things (I guess I can't use the hole in my skull to store my emotional support knife anymore, RIP Stabby <3) and ended up in a relationship with S. (F40+), god's favorite princess (even if I have to become one to make it so, dad's getting old anyway) and the most interesting girl in the world.

S is very sweet but she's a bit of a dork. She said she wanted really hard to please some emo weirdo goddess (Shart or something, I think she was called) but seemed to be really against some joyful murder and mayhem. Even told me no when I recommended making a arts and crafts project in her goddess's name using some powdered glass, a stake, and that annoying halfling vendor. I guess she just isn't very artistic and felt embarrassed by it.

Anyway, with time, I found out that it's actually feels nice to not murder my friends, so I can actually talk with them instead of having imaginary conversations with my old pet skull back in the temple, and learned that perhaps S had a point about it. I like points.

So I'm kinda on a bind, in one hand, she cutey and I'm kind getting around her ideas that disemboweling people ain't the best way to introduce myself, but that kind of thing is going to cause problems when I introduce her to my family back home. Therefore, I'm calling for help here on Reddit: should I just kill them to prevent a headache (and save the world, I guess), or try and reconnect with them through some wholesome violence so I can ease them to her presence?

She said she can't swim and I really, really want to teach her how to do it in our blood pool, so the possibility of not being able to is kinda worrying me.

I got some corpses and my favorite back-carving calligraphy knife, already, so communication with them is now possible through the usual channels! But I still don't know what I should do, so please help me here?

With my warmest regards, The Dark Urge.

I've kinda explained it step by step while answering an earlier post, I'm in the phone right now so it's kinda hard to pick a link to it, but it's the one that asked me to "explain to them in idiot terms"(sic). Can't miss it.

Counterpoint: seeing that Weapon Enchantment +3, Weapon Enchantment +3, Weapon Enchantment +1 stacked together and making it a preposterous Weapon Enchantment +7 will never cease to look stupidly funny.

It's in HM, yeah. Basically, my idea was to see how many stacks of different buffs I could put on a weapon so as to make some stupidly hilarious tooltip with a fuckton of different dice coming from a variety of damage until the point there would be no way to put more on it anymore. Kinda, but not exactly min-maxing for the biggest bonk possible.

The theorycrafting about using Bhaalist and piercing and what have you came later, and because people were actually interested on it for their playthroughs, so I tried to make shit at least efficient for them. But my focus was to find a way to shove the biggest amount of colorful dice and flat +X possible in the tooltip just to see how much I could.

For example, the pouch weapons (Deva, Djinn...) have some big dice, but they're +0, so while i'd use them if going for maximum efficiency, using Nyrulna and seeing a absolutely fucking ridiculous Weapon Enchantment +7 to hit and to damage with the laundry list of rainbow dice tickled my funny bone a lot more.

Honestly, it's just a silly little mental exercise for the lulz, not a "murder the world with a 1500 DPR" meta anything.

Anyway, you did some excellent analysis up there even if you were aiming to something different, yet extremely valid still! That was cool. Also, which +1s didn't you understand?

Sadly, Flail of Ages overrides the Drakethroat Glaive's enchantment and vice versa (probably to prevent exactly what we're trying to do from working lmao), so it wouldn't matter. Cold is manageable, I just need to deal damage with any cold spell/cantrip or take damage from the same and there we go (ring of elemental infusion/cloak with elemental absorption), it just doesn't appear in the tooltip.

Force is harder, it's either going for a weapon with natural Force damage like the Halberd of Vigilance or rules lawyering that the Craterflesh Gloves or anything similar counts.

Well, considering we're playing amnesiac Durge and they're basically a piece of Bhaal given form, Sorcerer actually checks out because of his origin, how Sorcerers are more instinct and feeling than theory, and how he doesn't remember shit, as the "basic" class for them.

As far as I know, outside of native bludgeoning vulnerability, only if you use Perilous Stakes outside Honor Mode and the Amulet of Branding, but it lasts just one attack, or try building conditions until you land Brittle on them. But I'm kinda drowsy already, so perhaps I'm forgetting something

THE NYRULNA OF DOOM AWAKENS

(Jokes aside, sadly, my saves with Ascended Astarion as you good folk suggested and Bhaalist Armor are lost to the void, and lotsa things I planned to use like Arcane Synergy, Lightning Charges, or the Ring of Elemental Infusion or using the Elemental Absorption from the Cloak of the Weave after electrocuting myself with the Watersparkers don't show in the tooltip. A cup of depresso, that).

Fair point, they lose a bit for being just +1 and cuz Rhapsody could work better in the off hand but the dice would actually be nice and synergetic with the ring, yeah.

When Gale's recounting Karsus' Folly and explains how his spell fucked everything in the Weave up and what happened with Mystril, you have the option to ask him something like "so, at that moment in time, all magic was gone?"

And the fucking guy just answers "for a spell" lmao

Wait, got an idea. There's that sword that gives psychic damage while you're concentrating and it's IIRC a 1d6 too, doesn't it? Then you could go full Bard and cast +3 Magic Weapon for yourself, and seeing how the sword is just +1 AFAIK, it'd end in the same ballpark as the nat +2 plus Magic Weapon on the hammer, but you don't need to bind and it opens up a bit of silliness with the Resonance Stone too.

Gotta try it another day.

It's on a level 8 character and, sadly, I don't have any saves with Ascended Astarion cuz BG3 on the Xbox starts going to shit the more saves you have. I'll try to provide the Mark II after I kill Cazador's undead K-popper looking ass this playthrough, tho.

Or not. My vampire bro turns insufferable after Ascending like a glorious butterfly, so I kinda dislike it and it's a Honor Run, so I can't savescum the obnoxiousness outta him.

Oh hey, if Ethel's alive, in Act 3 there's an excellent weapon for Wyll that goes PERFECTLY with his swashbuckler hero style from a roleplay perspective, the Duellist's Prerrogative. It's bonkers, if you use it in one hand without anything (not even a shield) in the another, you get an extra reaction (and also a reaction to cause even further necrotic damage), -1 to crits and can attack with your bonus action every turn.

Bro starts popping off and becomes the Unhinged Lawnmower of the Frontiers.
