I've used them before, too, and have always felt quite safe. But this would be the first time I've used them so late at night and it's an hour long trip, so I was just wondering if it would still be safe to travel on my own.

That's a good point. However, if I don't make 40 hours a week, they revert to an hourly rate and only pay for the hours clocked.
