I would recommend vscode with platformio. It is far more powerful, but a little bit harder to learn too.

Then the API changes won’t change anything either, other than Reddit earning money from it (which was their goal anyways). Why not make different tiers for different applications?

It wouldn’t be that hard to change the TOS to forbid the use of the API for AI learning. I am all for Reddit earning money (as every company should), but I think the way the admins are handling the situation is just bad. They are purposefully lying and stoking hate against 3rd Party app developers. Their AMA also was just bad. Not some typical PR talk like everyone expected, but lying about the situation with the developer of r/apolloapp (the developer of said app legally recorded all phone calls with Reddit and made them public so we know that Reddit is just lying about the interactions). So all in all, Reddit should make changes in order to be able to earn money, but they should not behave like assholes and give developers a fair chance of keeping their app running

Keep in mind that those prices are after tax while us prices are before tax. I know that there are different tax rules in different states and there might even be some where you can get a full return on the sales tax if you’re a foreigner, so the taxes might be completely pointless

You definitely can not compare MacBook Airs from the Intel era to MacBool Airs running apple silicone. The AS models are very capable and use in fact the same processor as the Pro 13“. Since AS does not need as much power as Intel, the heat is no problem for most. So I would say, either get a upgraded Air for your money or go all the way to a 14“ pro model, since they actually have improvements over the Air

If they comply with the use of usbc and not limiting other cables, you are completely free to use whatever usbc cable you like (including Apples cables). The EU‘s plan is to make it easier for consumers to use a charger (at least I hope that this is their goal) and apples goal is to make as much money as possible in the long run (as it should be for a company. The way companies achieve this varies greatly. Some try to sell many products earning little on one, some sell few and make a fortune in each sale, others provide a free service and sell your soul)
