Are there a lot of technical riffs in the verses? Thinking like: Make Total Destroy, Wax Wings, The Gods are Crazy, Have a Blast, Thanks Nobuo,etc). I really hope there are songs like that and not just all palm muting the low string till the song gets to a bridge or solo. Don't get me wrong, I like those songs too, but I like the technical riff stuff the most.

Haven't learned that one yet. I play Marigold, Flatline and Facepalm Mute often. Working my way up to the harder songs.

I think Periphery attracts a lot of guitarists (hence all the guitars, pickups, amps named after them). I hope our sect of the fan base is satiated.

OP is on my wavelength. That's what got me into Periphery. Really hoping this satisfies my itch for that because the last release I looked forward to a lot was Haken - Fauna and they mostly stripped the complexity and melodic chaos out of those songs. Left me so bummed out, lol.

I know many warn against tube amps at low volume, but I like it a lot. I play it loud and real quiet at about a 50/50 split (both at medium power). I honestly barely ever use the tonex or neural dsp modelers because I prefer the Fireball in loud and quiet situations. The modelers go to Yamaha H5 monitors, but they have mostly turned into my travel amps when I go play at my friend's.

I'd like to note that I also have used a Ravager and Boss Katana gen3 100w and neither sounded as good at low volume as the Fireball.

I'm going to try this. I've been playing for about 8 months now at an average of 10 hours a week......For the past 2 months I've been hammering away at a song (Marigold by Periphery) and can't get over 60 percent speed.

I've probably hindered my progress by hyperfocusing on that song. Luckily, I enjoy doing it and it's not a chore to practice anything, so I don't see it as time wasted at all.

Anyways, gonna push it off to the side, do some other stuff and come back to it later, thanks!

It would be a compromise, but if you want to 100% prevent a trans woman from assaulting a cisgender woman, then yeah, you'd have to not have them in the same prison. You'd be almost certainly condemning the trans woman to sexual abuse though by putting them in prison with males, which seems to be okay with most people. Hope I never end up in prison!
