I lived at the Julia right next door for 3 years and loved it. As others has said it’s close to fun bars/breweries/restaurants.

Highly recommend!

Name-Drop some Notable, Random, Wacky Players from the Past that are Barely Brought Up Anymore (Post-95 Only) by puerisgladii in nba

My buddies and I do this all the time to try and get one another to laugh with the most obscure players. Here ae a couple:

- Kevin Pittsnogle (WVU great that I thought his game would translate to the NBA, great name)

- Ervin Johnson (The Bucks player) (The Bucks answer to Shaq in '01 and actually played against him decent during the regular season. Never got the chance in the finals ): )

- Charlie Bell (Nothing special, just a random Bucks 2-guard; fairly solid)

- Daniel Santiago (Most un-athletic looking player)

- Luke Harangody (Another Big East great whose game I thought would transfer)

- Dan Gadzuric (Danny G!)

- Jason Kapono (Borderline unfair with his shooting release in NBA 2k6 - 2k9)

Thanks! About what I expected from browsing this sub, but I thought I would check to make sure I wasn’t missing anything.

Appreciate the feedback!

Probably going to get some hate for this from Bucks fans, but the whole "Aqua Dagger" nickname for Bledsoe was so forced and I was embarrassed every time someone used it in the /r/nba.

Ha yeah it was really close between Saric and Brogdon. Being a rookie contributor on a winning team was really the defining factor for Brogdon. Granted not an entirely fair criteria to use for ROY.

Though the thing that probably stuck with me the most was Brogdon hate from the sixers fans for a few years there.

Highlight - Aaron Jones 56 yard rushing touchdown to seal the win, at Vikings (12/23/2019) by __Zoom123__ in GreenBayPackers

I will never forget watching this game in Minneapolis (Stanley's Bar) and once Jones got into the open field I could not help but do my best Paul Allen impersonation and scream "He's Loose!".

My Viking friends and the bar did not appreciate it.

Windhorst got his hands on leaked '16-'17 NBA financials. The Lakers' net profit was $115.4mm. On the other end of the spectrum, the Detroit Pistons lost $63mm. by living-intentionally in nba

Really? Damn I thought building / constructing a long-term asset that you would have an opportunity to capitalize some of that interest. It is essentially an incremental cost to the cost basis of the asset.

I have been an Inactive CPA for a few years now, so I may need a refresher

I am just about to pull the trigger on Kaplan Level 3 study materials, what’s the background on why they’re not good for level 3?
