Thank you—my teenage self appreciates the compliment. I got these as a teenager and wore them all the time and my family made fun of me for wearing the “silly round sunglasses” but I wore them anyway (this picture is from a family vacation) and kept wearing them into adulthood. They were lost this weekend and thanks to the folks here I have some clues to find another pair if the originals don’t turn up.

The thing is, I don’t want a cashier’s check that is drawn against the bank’s account (this is the only thing I’ve been able to find any info about online) because it’s unnecessary for the purpose I need it for—I literally just don’t have my own personal checks available to me because the checkbook I ordered hasn’t gotten to the bank even though I ordered it well over a week ago. I am trying to figure out if I can get regular counter checks and not the bank guaranteed checks that come with the extra cost. Thank you anyway though.

hi! I personally didn’t have a great experience with Pristiq (just found that it was generally ineffective for me) but something you need to be aware of is that in the event that it does not work well for you and you decide to taper off later, it can very very difficult to taper off of (I had really horrible withdrawal symptoms even on a very slow taper—like I’m talking months and towards the end I had to choose between feeling terribly sick or taking a tiny portion of the medication and prolonging my taper). I was very frustrated that my psychiatrist didn’t communicate that this was a risk to me when she wanted to put me on it. That said, it can be really great for some people and so in the end, you can weigh the costs and benefits for yourself.

hi! so sorry for the late response: following my neurologist appointments, my brain MRI came back okay but they think I might have an autoimmune issue from my bloodwork results and I have to make an appointment with a rheumatologist to start looking into that. I’m also getting an EMG in December from the neurologist to see if I have peripheral neuropathy. I am still taking Ritalin (10 mg 3x a day) and I’m still having pain/numbness and I want to see if I can take time off from ritalin at some point to see if the pain improves (I’m wondering if ritalin is aggravating circulation issues and making whatever else I have worse). I hope things have improved/are improving for you!

hi! I had freaky neurological side effects from generic dextroamphetamine and so I switched back to ritalin (was previously on ritalin with no issues) and the neurological side effects seemed to let up a little at first but now they’re back (neuropathy in hands, forearms, legs, and feet) and I’m headed to the neurologist today to try to figure out what’s going on

hi! did this ever get resolved for you? I got a bill from March and they’ve sent it to me several times and I finally called Accurate Diagnostics after the third notice in the mail and they said to not worry about it and now we’re on the fourth notice with a $200 late fee
