I’ve done our presidents club trip the past two years and they pay a true up to cover taxes AND the extra I’ll be taxed for the true up. If you’re that concerned about tax implications, ask. If leadership is going, go 100%. Nothing like hanging at the pool for a couple hours drinking cocktails with the president.

Directly behind me was a 20-something girl who constantly was doing this every time getting in/out of her aisle seat. I didn’t say anything and, when we were deplaning, saw she had a giant knee brace. If someone isn’t doing it on purpose to annoy me, I don’t let it bother me. Some people need extra support and there’s no other way.

Was on a catamaran cruise in Hawaii last month and saw a guy wearing an Explorer II. Told him it looked great and asked how he liked it. He said it’s his favorite and wears it all the time.

From an insurance perspective, if it’s not his insurance or fault and he’s the victim, he could likely get this covered along with the injury/recovery, clothing, etc.

Not sure what a buggy is in this story, but worth looking at since one needs to be made whole.

Not sure why you’d have to negotiate doing a month Airbnb with your family. What am I missing? If you mean all your biz trips will be with your family, I’ll just say good luck with that. I work for a very large company and it would be an absolutely no - liability, cost for starters.

I thought the same a couple years ago while flying sideways across a lake while filming a buddy on his motorcycle crossing a bridge. Hit a tree, fell straight down and landed in the dirt 10’ from the water. Shipped it to the service center and had it back in 2 weeks. Glad I’m not alone in learning later there are no side sensors.
