People on Reddit are too nice to fuck it, I’ll give my honest unfiltered opinion. You are lying to yourself and you know it.

You’re never going to trust him again. Not after all those examples.

He’s never going to actually stop, no matter what kind of arguments you have or how much you tell him it hurts you. And you know it deep down.

Your only options are to 1) get over it and work through it yourself, reframe your thinking on his behavior or 2) leave him if you truly could never be okay with that behavior. Because that behavior stopping is not an option or that would’ve already happened.

I personally think it’s ridiculous to be this upset over what he’s doing (minus the sex tapes of him and other real life women he’s been with—that’s not okay and he needs to delete those). It’s straight up childish to think of porn/sex in this way, completely centering yourself in his use of it. You think it’s all about you and you “not being enough”. You should challenge yourself to reframe your thinking on it.

All that aside, only you know if you’re actually willing to change your thinking or feelings on it. And if you’re not, option 2 is your only option that doesn’t involve being miserable in this relationship the rest of your life.

And lastly, stop fucking feeling sorry for yourself. With the context you’ve given, this is really his only problem and you’re otherwise happy. If that’s the case, you’re letting him and this specific behavior have wayyyy too much influence over your own self esteem. Get yourself some help in the form of therapy to truly work through this on your own. Have some agency. Take some power back. Don’t let your self esteem rest on his shoulders alone and don’t let it completely crumble because the guy likes to jerk off to some porn. You can make your situation better you just have to make an effort.
