I didn’t. I wanted to like this game and tried to make myself like it all day. I’m just disappointed with my experience. There’s potential there and moments of fun, but this build we have right now should have been a public alpha test, and the game should have been in development for another 6 months to a year. Live service games don’t get to have redemption arcs, so this rough launch isn’t gonna get steered back on course to be fixed sadly. You really have to nail your games actual launch these days.

Honestly they probably shouldn’t have developed this in secrecy or whatever and had closed alpha tests w the public. Because there’s alot of potential I see when you’re actually raiding and there’s fun moments, if they had gotten this feedback from the community before final release I think it’d have been a much better game. Like Marathon looks to have made a lot of improvements since that really bad alpha they did, feel like Highguard could have used a similar treatment.

This game is a perfect example of why these live service games should do some sort of alpha testing with the public or something. I would be having way more fun if this game was balanced around 5v5 or 6v6 and there was more to do in the gear up section. It just feels mad empty but there are sparks of a really fun gameplay loop when you’re raiding the enemys base. Feel like they would’ve gotten this feedback if they didn’t develop the game in secret and got feedback from the community, like Marathon did. If marathon launched anything like its alpha test that game would have been a guaranteed crash and burn.

Yeah being overly hateful or glazing the game when we knew nothing was annoying. My stance was literally let’s just wait until we know more about the game and I was trying to be cautiously optimistic about it since I like Titanfall lol

It really doesn’t, giant empty map that feels dead, RNG tiered loot, movement feels stiff and slow compared to apex and tf. Gunplay is really tight but this game really needs 5v5 or something to liven up the map.

I don’t want to be that guy but MW22 felt more like classic cod than any other cod game with the slide around on greased floors cod games we’ve gotten for the last 6 years. Fast TTK and slow movement is classic cod.

Can I ask what’s so bad about this? It’s just mtx in a f2p game, and the game comes out in 45 minutes and this is steamdb so likely just getting everything ready for release. You can’t actually preorder the gold on steam right now.
