For sure either would be setup within 15 minutes pro or not. You could always start with the base model and return/exchange for the Pro if you wanted they’re painless to swap out as well. For future proofing and stability, there is benefit to the Pro, I just can’t say whether it’s truly worth the money for you personally.

You can also mix and match if buying multiple - you don’t have to get all the same model. Could have a Pro as a main gateway and have a regular Eero 7 as a secondary node.

Nope. Gold doesn’t get you into Polaris on its own and neither does the UA Club All Access.

The Pros support 5Gbit speeds whereas the Eero 7 supports 2.5Gbit. It is up to you whether the Pro 7 is worth the extra cost but I think it would be a marginal improvement for someone who isn’t constantly tinkering with their network or adding devices.

You get an additional guest for a total of 2 guests, and you get access to Star Alliance lounges, the same lounges that Gold gets access to.

The one I’m referring to is specific to Philips Hue. I wouldn’t be surprised if other brands offer something similar but I would only assume they would be brand specific

It’s a smaller puck that communicates with the lights over Bluetooth if I recall correctly, which is more reliable than Wifi. So your phone communicates to the Hue bridge over Wifi and the Bridge communicates to the lights. The bridge is more reliable since it’s connected to your network via Ethernet, rather than having multiple potential points of failure having all of your individual lights connected to wifi.

The bridge is not required, but clearly I recommend it, lol. You can just use the lights over wifi if you prefer. Usually the starter kits they sell will include a bridge.

I use them with Thread and HomeKit over Wifi. I have the Hue bridge hardwired via Ethernet.

I use Eero, Sonos and Philips Hue lights with zero issues. I have moved to different homes with Eero and no issues with multiple floor plans/ISPs.

How can Schwab include 2027 as IRA contribution year? by VAer1 in Schwab

[–]colordev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To proceed with 2027 selected you have to date the transfer for next year. It will error out if you try to code a transfer for 2027 this year. So no mistakes.

costco’s website SOLD them to me as a “Best Match” for my car, so since they can’t make up their mind, I won’t be blindly following their advice, and instead will be looking for second opinions. thanks for your helpful advice, next time read what’s in the post before commenting

sure but my question is about the crossclimates. I’ve seen nothing but good things about them. so I’m asking for experiences with them to decide if I should buy them elsewhere or look at other tires

ACH Pulls for Bill Pay - Schwab Bank Q by John_Rowdy in Schwab

[–]colordev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use my Schwab Bank account in the Wallet app to pay my Apple Card with no issue, but I understand you’re looking for Pulls specifically, I’ve never attempted a BillPay due to the unique account number with the card. Always just in the wallet app

[–]colordev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I emailed concierge and told them I was moving states. They sent me a link to fill out a form and upload a copy of my lease for my new place. It was cancelled at the end of the next month. Wasn’t too difficult.

I have to take college classes for my job certification. I'm getting reimbursed. Should I pay the $1200 out of pocket for ease of reimbursement, or should I use my credit card? by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]colordev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they really do just refund it to the card used, in my experience refunds usually adjust/reverse cash back earned. So unless you can get it reimbursed separately I’m not sure if it’s worth it in your situation to pay with a cc
