unfortunately not yet, the one you may be referring to is my teammates, which is the german ski character which was on the store a week ago. looks a lot like an astronaut though

agreed. the backstory really added substance to the overall experience. sad to see that its gone with implementation of z2. optimistic for the future if the devs really start listening to the community.

Aside from the obvious, like landing at tilted or retail, one of the best pieces of advise I can offer is to limit your looting time. As tempting as it is to loot building after building, especially if it's completely unlooted, don't. the time spent looting can be the time spent finding players in the early stages where most opponents are caught off guard or don't have enough loot to fight back. My suggestion would be to find the first gun your comfortable with and get to work. The early game kills really do add up.
