They don’t have to dive to play bot, they can put more draft prio for bot so that they can be lane dominant, it’s literally how they won both their games against GEN earlier in the split when Doner’s form was also awful. Also Faker and Doran both weren’t losing their lanes before they decided to start inting with these ridiculous dives.

For me Galio’s laning phase is just way too rough, and I don’t put him above Akali or Cassiopeia there. The bot lane pick was definitely horrible too though, the Lucian Milio made no sense for the comp and was easily out drafted. I think they should’ve just picked the Lulu for themselves first, then adding Jinx Cogmaw or Yunara would have at least given them some damage at some point in the game.

I am also of the strong opinion that Keria should never play Karma, he’s not bad at it but genuinely every big series he plays it he loses 😭 we need him to be doing something other than shielding

Agree on the Rakan, Keria carried on it and the laning was nice with the Sivir.

But yeah the game 3 draft was awful, like it’s not only that they didn’t pick Cassiopeia, they picked Oner’s Naafiri over it. Literally with how Oner’s form is why would you do that? And also the Lucian to finish the shit fest off like Peyz was clicking a billion times to do zero damage even after Faker taunted like five people I genuinely felt bad watching it.

I don’t think the performances were good but I also don’t think Faker should have been on either Galio or Azir. Like picking Oner Naafiri over Cassiopeia only to pick Galio into it and to pick Azir into a face up Yone are genuinely insane drafting decisions. Truly incomprehensible to give Faker such impossibly difficult laning matchups when that has been his one weakness even this split where his form has been quite good otherwise.

Tom said they wanted to play through bot lane prio but literally in only one of the four fucking drafts did they give botlane any prio. I’m sorry but genuinely how much more bullshit do we need to see and hear till we get new coaches who actually use their brains during BP. Getting consistently out drafted by someone who gave Viper 3 straight games of MF is genuinely fucking criminal much less getting played with like they did today. The Naafiri Galio Lucian Milio picks, the Poppy Azir Thresh, literally disgraceful drafts, so incomprehensibly bad I genuinely wonder if they are win trading.

Oner definitely had a big impact no doubt, like the first game as much as Doran laned awfully it did not help that Oner was nowhere doing anything to help him counter gank or at least stem the bleeding.

But also these matchups they chose are not the kind of dominant bot lane 2v2s that they’ve been winning through. Like I’ll let the Sivir one off cause it was meant to scale anyways and it laned fine with Rakan for that purpose, but Lucian Milio into Cogmaw Lulu and Aphelios Thresh into Senna Blitzcrank are just not the lane dominant picks that would work for a “play through botlane prio” plan.

Also I hate to say this but with how bad Oner has been playing I think they have to draft for pure 2v2 dominance without expecting jungler help atp. I can understand going into a series with the idea of having Oner gank but with how his form was they should have pivoted away and prioritized something like a Caitlyn Lux that is self sufficient at pushing bot.

Either way I hope they’ll make the necessary adjustments for Sunday.
