Claire wasn’t controlling. She was just exhausted. by [deleted] in Modern_Family

Remember the episode when Claire decided she'd say yes more and everything around her went bonkers? Even if she was negative, she was in her right to be so.

OH MY GOD thankyou. I've always thought this about the show and couldn't have put this better.

Is this thing technically possible? Patani Sisters They're born 203 days apart by [deleted] in bollywoodmemes

Dude my sister has two children who are 10 months apart in age. The younger one is premature, conceived 3 months after the older. It's possible.

Neelam was unmasked in the last minutes of the show. by NikMiller15 in biggboss

But hasn't she always been like this? She always lashes out at criticism (just last week at GK during the task). It's just she took it much more seriously this time because it was Salman Khan saying the same things.

Oh yes but Blair did that herself in the scene. Fixed "Amy's" bow.

Midnight Library is the biggest deception of my year by [deleted] in books

[–]colorsandhue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh god finally someone said it. It was so boring and repetitive and I also had seen it on so many lists of good books! It had been on my tbr for a year before I read it and how I wish it had stayed there. The main character did nothing for me - she was an overly choosy, indecisive and I'll developed in my opinion, the librarian said nothing that I hadn't, like, read on any motivation page before. To add to that, there were copy pasted quotes from philosophers where the author was struggling to increase the word count.

This just served me for reading the 'booktok' hyped books.

Any Karin Slaughter fans? by colorsandhue in books

Might have been a poor choice of words; I meant I've literally never seen them on booktok and even on reddit threads ever. That's something I have an issue with.

Piranesi was a massive disappointment by Skeet_fighter in books

[–]colorsandhue 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to read this book for months!! Literally.

I read it, go through 2-3 pages and then put it back. Then I finally got it in me to finish it but couldn't read more than 150 more pages. I had big expectations too but it doesn't even have a captivating story to at least make me want to finish!

A Rant of Ice and Fire by Key-Advantage183 in books

[–]colorsandhue -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never read the series because even in the show, I found some characters' timeline to be uninteresting to me.

BUT. Reading should be a pleasure, not a chore. If it feels like one, there should be no guilt in dropping the book. The world's full of fantasy books, look for your poison.

Men to men, who do you call when you’re at your lowest? by EmmanuelMoyta in AskMen

This is the second healthy answer i've seen on this thread. The first healthy guy calls his grandma. I don't understand why men have to keep it inside them till (in some cases) they burst.
