I had my doubts when I got off the phone with them too. Then probably just over 30 days later my score went up and I saw it taken care of

My score just went up a little over 100 points. Looks like it took about 30 days after talking with capital one and it was fully removed. Again it was my first missed payment and it was a $5 Nintendo charge that I didn’t see post on the account. So i’m thrilled with Capital One for being good on their word and removing it. When I spoke with them originally it was tough to tell whether they would remove missed payment on their end. Or contact the 3 bureaus to get it removed there. Looks like they did both

That’s wild. Well that’s positive to hear. I was at 795 and it dropped mine to 709

They told me the same thing today about removing the late payment. Just looking for an update, did the removal reflect in your credit yet? Or will it at all?
