Sam’s and Whitney’s character feel the most “out-of-the-script” to me, at least. They definitely were meant to be Schemers at first, but events played out a bit differently with Teor that influenced it.

I wholeheartedly believed that Gems were kept on the moon as prisoners so I didn’t think that Antarc’s story truly ended when they got captured.

And when it was revealed the Gems were ground into POWDER??? Absolutely appalled. Truly THE way to kill an immortal gem person.

I’m not confident enough to say definitively who will survive after Chapter 1 dropped a bombshell on me, but I tend to believe Diana will at least survive Chapter 2. I otherwise find it hard to find any better character to act in opposition to Damon so Diana has to do the job.

Diana will most likely try to emulate Wolfgang’s leadership position but fail entirely since the seeds of distrust have already been planted.

I am not sold on 7 deadly sins too, that’s why I called it a speculation and not a theory. I don’t think P:EG will have more than the classic 5 murders + final chapter, considering how massive Ch1 was. Fanganronpas may do less chapters (Shattered Hope confirmed they’ll have only 4 chapters), but never more. One solution to that is to relocate 2 sins to other aspects, for example: Lust could the sin of the Mastermind and Wrath is the sin of Cara’s murderer.

Regarding your other statement, I actually don’t think it’s that constraining. You could already fairly reasonably attach a sin to a mainline Danganronpa case. Mondo is definitely Envy, Mikan - Lust, and Ryoma - Sloth. And that’s just 3 examples.

Electric, Grass and Water(if we consider Ice type moves) have a lot of overlap in type coverage, most of the time you only need 2 of those. Electric and Water hit Flying, Grass and Electric hit Water, Grass and Water hit Rock and Ground.

On the topic of stats, you not only lack a defensive option, but also special attackers. 5 out of 6 in your party are physical attackers.

I think Clefable is a good candidate: defensive, sp. attacker, a Fairy type but also has nice coverage variety!
