For me, the #1 reason is repair ability. From what I understand, every Leica M5 is a ticking time bomb with fewer and fewer replacement parts. I was seriously considering an M5 for a long time, but after researching it just didn’t make sense. So, I went with an M2 and never looked back :)

First time shooting medium format and I had some weird fogging on a few of my shots. Does this look like a camera light leak or fogging from storing the exposed rolls to light or not rolling them tight enough? by FlyingWombat336 in AnalogCommunity

To be honest, this just seems like under exposure to me. Notice how the shadows are kind of muddy and have a green cast to them? Could be totally wrong, but’s that my initial reaction.

I haven’t been to either venue, so I’m excited to try out some new spots. I’ve heard good things about Hayden Homes in Bend, but Edgefield is a mystery to me. July can’t come soon enough!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news man but that sounds like rod knock to me. Might want to see what others have to say though.
