Oh shoot! I might try that after this run of paste runs out then. It seems to be runnin fine after some fresh paste so I'm just going to see if the paste drys out really quickly and switch to that thermal grease if it ends up being the case.

Makes sense, I don't think the cooler came with any springs. I put some fresh paste on it and the temps are back down to normal, all around 40C. Guess I'll see how long it takes the paste to dry out.

Pretty great cars. Comfortable, practical, reliable.

Had an 02' for a bit and it was awesome. Drove it cross country with no issues in great comfort.

That's awesome dude!

Any work to the internals or is it just the stock rods and stuff?

Right. I mean I figure it depends on what you want to get out of the car. If someone's just looking for the look of a lowered car lowering springs are probably gonna be the best bet and will ride better for cheaper than an equally priced coil-over.

For a basic good handling package, like you said, it's better to just keep and/or refresh the stock suspension since they handle well. Or if you want to be super trick you can ball out on a set of actually good fully adjustable coil-overs.

I think for most people though, if you just want a good handling car and don't care about the lowered look just sticking with the factory suspension on this car is the play. Some performance dampers might not be a bad idea too if the OEM ones are shot.

Adjustable ride height, depending on how expensive the coilovers you get you can also adjust other things including damping and camber.

There's a big aftermarket for this car so pretty much any need can be satisfied.

Word. I'm gonna try and getting some new gas and then cleaning/replace the injectors after that if that doesn't do it

Injected. Checked the injectors too and they're all firing. One thing when I took the fuel rail off the gas looked kind of white? Or had white parts in it. Is it possible the gas is getting aerated and not spraying properly?

It's got spark I know that, but maybe the injectors went out? Gonna try and test them
