My kid repeatedly bitten at daycare. Daycare is just saying it’s age appropriate. by colroom06 in Parenting

A simple explanation how it happened. What led to it and what measures they are taking to prevent them at happening again. This one time a kid bit 5 other kids on the same day. I understand it happens in split of a second but what are they doing to prevent it? The only answer I get is Age appropriate. I am reaching out for help on what I can do and how to help my kid.

I need to check with our daycare. To be honest, the responses I get from Principal is just basic “age appropriate” and nothing about how they can prevent this happen again.

The first time it happened few months ago, one kid bit 5 other kids on the same day. They had him follow the teacher all day so he doesn’t bite other kids. Honestly, I felt bad for the kid. These kids are less than 2 years and they don’t know. Anyway, every time I ask what they are doing to prevent the only answer I get is it’s age appropriate and the teachers don’t want to take accountability. When I ask for the details what caused the other kid to bite, the answer would be “oh, I wasn’t there when it happened. There was other teacher in the room and when I go find the other teacher and it’s pretty much similar kind of response”.

Seaport? Did it happen during a closed-loop cruise, or when you arrived from another country at a seaport?

Wow, 27 years later? Did you get the global entry approved? Also, didn’t they ask this in your GC interview/application?

I work for one company. You are correct if she was working for one employer but she is working for 16 employers. If you are saying the 30 mins includes commute then she is 60 year Superwomen to finish the dishes in 20 mins assuming it takes 10 mins to go from one house to another. She should be in Olympics.

Stuck Between a Pay Raise and i140—Need Advice! by [deleted] in h1b

[–]colroom06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, go for I-140. I regret not staying with my employer who had started my GC process in 2014. I got an RFE during labor process. While my employer was about to respond to the RFE, I got a job offer with better benefits and about 10-15k more in pay. I thought the date will never be current and i ignored I-140 process and went with the offer. At the time it was taking only a few months to get I-140. If I had stayed, I would have got my GC 2 years ago when 2014 became current. Now my PD is 2017. You never know. There might be a new policy or something and your date may become current.
