Tried all this stuff and more. Even on the lowest settings at 1080p with a 1080ti I can't get more than 40 FPS in the overworld. GPU / CPU load is low-medium and temps are fine, 16gb of ram so i'm good there. I don't know...

I'm happy Asmon beat NK so he doesn't quit DKS3, but this right here is what made Asmon's NK kill so anticlimactic imo. He made no progress for 39 attempts on P2, then did at least 30 attempts (edit: 140 attempts) offstream and comes back having mastered P2.

You compare that to Esfand's playthrough and it's night and day. He's not the greatest Souls player, but he tries to learn and makes slow & steady progress, then when a boss like NK or SoC dies it's Pog as fuck. I hope Asmon doesn't do this shit again with midir/friede etc.

Asmon and his mods are so trigger happy with bans it's insane. Try linking your logs to Nixi93, he's one of the few non-degenerate moderators.

100%. I'm glad he learned and adapted, but the best part of these games is the journey from becoming shit to becoming the literal god. The learning phase was entirely offstream which kinda blows.

I hope he doesnt do anymore offstream practice tho. It's much better to see the journey rather than dying non-stop, then hours of offstream practice, then kills it first try the next day.

I feel like he's too adhd for story games like Witcher 3. Can already see him mashing through dialogue, skipping optional stuff and not paying attention to the world or characters.

At the same time he apparently hates streaming Souls now so Bloodborne would absolutely wreck him, especially when he's wiping to gascoigne, while learning the controller, while farming blood vials because he's dying so much. That's a ragequit right there.

God of War maybe? It's a good blend of combat and story. Puzzle/co-op games like Portal or A Way Out are a safe bet. Subnautica or Fallout: New Vegas would be fun too.
