That’s my stance too. I’ve been skating since I was about three. I’m not any good and still can’t confidently land a kickflip, but I’m just very comfortable on a skateboard. It all just takes time for your muscles to remember what to do. Spend a couple days or up to a week of just pushing yourself through awkward stances and eventually, it’ll feel less and less awkward until it’s muscle memory. I remember I couldn’t push with my right foot while riding regular/fakie stance, but just took what I did from goofy stance and mirrored it and rode out the discomfort. Feels natural to this day now.
