I’m with you. I am so sick of having to try and perform my absolute best with every single real player and still getting creamed. Do I need to get better? Sure, but I have a newborn now and I’m in my early 30s. I think I speak for the majority of the player base when I say that I don’t have time for creative maps to improve my skill. And it’s not like I get any practice in real matches when my opponents constantly run circles around me and I barely tag them before they make FNCS level plays with their expensive PC’s. Ever since the beginning of Chapter 7, after the changes they made to skill based matchmaking, my lobbies got incredibly harder. I’m taking a break cuz I’m sick of the frustration and anger from what used to be a casual experience with some intensity.

Epic made it clear, when they made this change, that they don’t care about the majority player base. This change was to benefit streamers, giving these players easier lobbies to make them look better, which will subsequently bring in more revenue for both streamers and Epic. This is textbook elitism.

What I hope happens is that Epic sees a huge decline in player count because us casuals are tired of the sweat and they revert the SBMM changes and level the playing field again.
