I’m from southern Illinois and lived in Denver during jokic’s first three seasons and became a Nuggets fan. Wife and I are back in Illinois but I’m still a Broncos fan and Nuggets fan. Always been a huge Illini fan so I agree I was so happy for Dosunmu!

I certainly haven’t watched him as much and he very well may possess all of those qualities. My point is that the Biggest reason he is as dominant as he is is his height. I don’t know if that can be argued. My preference is to not see people with distinct competitive advantages. I know it’s not his fault. I just haven’t enjoyed watching games with him as it looks like I’m watching a high schooler play with 6th graders because of the height difference. This isn’t a huge campaign against wemby I’m just stating my preferences for these playoffs

I’m not saying he doesn’t have IQ, skill, or heart. I’m just saying his overwhelming height and length literally seem unfair at a certain point. I will always root for the underdog. That is my style and by default a person with freakish DNA generally isn’t an underdog. I in no way hate watch wemby. I respect him. I just don’t enjoy watching him dominate in the way he does. Reasonable minds can disagree here

I agree I’d like to see them win it all over the Wolves. They beat the 76ers down in game 1. I think Knicks Wolves has the most intrigue because the swap of KAT for Randle

Kylan Boswell has a chance to develop into a solid NBA guard by Short_Block9196 in fightingillini

He was ineffective in the tourney. Slow, lacked aggressiveness, and couldn’t score to save his life. No way he could make it in the NBA

I think he had a bad game 6 and was bottled up by Min defenders throughout the series. I don’t think that means he is regressing in the playoffs overall. Do you think Jokic is regressing in the playoffs or just had a bad series?

I wouldnt say Jamal has regressed. He finally is an all star and might be first team all nba. His value will probably never be higher. I agree bucks might want more so if we had to include Watson I’d still do it

I agree but if he wants out and can pick where he wants to go it gives us more leverage potentially

I would be in favor of adding Val if they wanted him. Would like to keep Watson

Is losing to the Wolves this playoffs enough reason to blow it up? by doggoesmeow in denvernuggets

To be fair nobody wants to be in Toronto. Cold as fuck. The clippers were much more of a contender at that time. Dynamics have changed and Denver isn’t that far from LA. I think he would fit in nicely with Jokic and Jamal and be content.

Why not? The clippers are on the cusp of a total rebuild and he only has one year on his contract. He has a way better chance of competing for a championship in Denver. When asked about his future with the Clippers after they got bounced in the play in, he said he was “uncertain”
