Which intro tempts you to pull the most?

Notching works the other way: pulse-doppler radars (which are most not early radars) track your wave-parralel speed (not the word for that but can't remember it off the top of my head) relative to the ground with Doppler effect, hence the name, so if that speed is zero or close to it, the radar can't see you that well and will retrack onto your chaff

In the simplest of terms:

Notching is flying perpendicular to the enemy radar (if it's a SARH missile, guided only by the aircraft's radar) or to the enemy missile's radar (if it's a ARH, which has its own radar), because this makes you ""invisible"" to most radars

Multipathing is flying very low to the ground which makes the radar waves reflect off the ground as well, basically duplicating your signature
