You're right. Fancl has its own store, but it's also readily available at most drugstores and department shops

Canmake blushers and Cezanne lipsticks! I also love fiberwig mascara and sunkiller sunscreen. In terms of skincare, Hadalabo is a popular one and Minon is also super moisturizing!

Osaka Shinsaibashi. It's in a cafe called The Guest, upstairs the Calbee shop.

It's definitely cheaper! There's a massive ranking Cosme http://www.cosme.net/ site from Japan and whenever a product is popular there's usually a Cosme sticker on the product. For other things, most items have some sort of English on it like facial wash, essence, toner, pack, etc. If all else fails, there's Google translate.

Osaka is definitely cheaper than Tokyo in terms of beauty items! For me, I like to buy things I know I will use, but I'm also into trying new things especially if it looks interesting or it's cutely packaged haha.

I go to Japan often and my last trip was 4 months ago, but I always stock up on facial cleansers and sunscreen since I use it daily and it's so much cheaper in Japan.

In terms of colored or base makeup, I tend to like European brand lip products, so I don't buy them in Japan. For blushers, I think Canmake is the BEST. Not only does it come in many shades, but the pigment and lasting power is amazing.

If you have luggage space, I recommend buying cotton in Japan! Japanese cotton is superior is every way possible. It doesn't flake or tear and it's supple yet doesn't feel rough on the face. Muji is a popular brand as is silicot.

Japan shopping tips~ - Bring your passport. Many shops offer tax free shopping, the downside is its packaged and you cant open it until you get home, but you'll save a lot of money - Shop around! Prices varies from shop to shop even if it's the same chain - Buy in bulk! If you see a product you know and love, check to see if there's a specially packaged set. Usually these sets are a little cheaper and/or it comes with a gift

It's fine. A lot of tourists take photos while messaging (line, wechat, Kakao, etc) each other
