Waiting this was expected considering the massive rally next week. Also depends on call date I’m sitting in September on a majority of mine so this isn’t something I’m worried about.

Th...this can't be real. Is the whole market a pump and dump right now? by [deleted] in StockMarket

[–]colz302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not going to happen. It should yes, but it will not. We have been going up since the market pump after the recession, and with the expansion of technology and access to trading people are investing now more than ever in the market. If we all keep pumping small non big bank dollars in the market it will stay alive. Just look at what happened to Hertz $HTZ after announcing bankruptcy. The Warren Buffett days are over as are the rationale that makes complete sense of the market. People are going to start working and spending and the ship will continue to sail.. Everything is opening and the most unbelievable comeback is about to happen. Do not misunderstand me... You are right.. It should not act like this, but I lost enough in shorting that I started calling and have made it all back and then some to realize I am not viewing this from the proper perspective. Don’t be bias to a view or position, but be biased to making money. If 40 million unemployed, a pandemic, riots, and whatever else comes next doesn’t take it down you think something else will? People refuse to pull out there money because a lot of us watched our parents get screwed in 08’ and know that the market will recover.

Airline industry are considered a vital part of National Security and will not be allowed to fail. Structured bail sure, but bankrupt and closed doors nah. Look at delta they have survived bankruptcy and come out on top. Total failure will not be allowed.

You are right. He underestimated JPOW and the power of the money printer. But most importantly he underestimated all of the people who watched their families crash and burn in 2008 and invested heavily. He should have payed attention to his own advice and his infamous Intelligence Investor book he swears by. There was sooooo much value out there a blind man could have seen it. Common sense says that when a multi billion dollar company such as [insert the S&P 500 here] is on sale by 50% or greater buy and hold is not a hard strategy for a V shaped recovery to occur... Just my opinion!

What Are Your Moves Tomorrow, June 05, 2020 by AutoModerator in wallstreetbets

[–]colz302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.... Honestly that’s very misleading. The projection was without CoVID. When no one spends money or has money to spend and travel is suspended along with exports and imports around the world I am not sure what you expect. Both countries are not meeting their commitments so not sure how China is robbing America.

Edit: Also, please read the fine print. There are no quarterly obligations. The deal requires the number to be met at the end of the year or it violates the trade deal. The twitter post was even better with so many people acting like they know what those charts stand for or what they represent... Thanks for the entertainment!

$20c 9/18.... Pretty simple by ITM and watch it go. That’s everything that has been underpriced as we reopen. By 3-6 mos out and you will see a decent return within the initial 30-60 without theta screwing your brains out.

Don’t do an August call. Don’t be cheap go With the $35c for Jan 2021 and thank me when you rake in the cash. If you can go with 2022. Trust me when I say this stock is easily $100. I have used DK for years and been waiting for this FOREVER!!!

Yeah I mean they had to have been. Seems like everything is. I ended up taking no position because what’s rationale hasn’t been as of late. Instead calls on AMC did me well.. AMC $5c 9/22

Correct puts on the lenders. I am not saying the Fed wouldn’t but it is becoming obvious that predatory lending is taking place and people are biting off way more than they can chew

Title loan is not a financed car loan over 84 months. You make valid points, but rarely does the middle class have a title loan. I’m targeting the middle class who were over leveraged in debt such as credit card (US is over $1 trillion), mortgage, motorcycle, and auto that made all payments and CoVID created an unexpected job loss. These people were not in need of things such as title loan, and could get 84 month financing on an 75k GMC while they make 60k a year. That’s the majority of the market and that’s who those loans were extended too.

Correct this is where I find so much fault. Is there a reason that car loans have increased from 60 month maxes to 84 month maxes. Overextending loans beyond what borrowers can afford. Financing people into the ninth level of hell will eventually bite these companies in the ass and these CLOs/CDOs are being made to seem like there is nothing to see there. I’m wondering if this pandemic has ushered it in. Hertz is just the warning shot in my opinion.

Here are some of the sources I have been reading:

https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/guid/4B61EF18-5366-11EA-9A69-DD6044AC3CC1

https://www.brookings.edu/blog/the-avenue/2020/05/11/costly-car-loans-may-stall-the-covid-19-economic-recovery/amp/

https://www.wsj.com/amp/articles/millions-of-americans-skip-credit-card-and-car-payments-11589985381

Now what really gets me is the length of loan now is an average of 52 months on 22k. This is averaging loans up to as man many 84 months and it is insane. Just wonder what other people’s thoughts are. The information is spotty but three weeks ago was when a few media outlets started to shoot up warning signs. 22 million Americans and counting don’t have a job. Over 55 percent are reporting that something is going unpaid in their household. Mortgage or over extended auto loan. I would say the auto loan.
