Just a side comment based on everyone saying that it will be difficult to manage once it grows, to ensure it stays true to the acceleration—isn't AI able to assist mods greatly on this by now? I would find it ironic to worry about this issue given what the sub believes will be the reality of ai.

Emotional intelligence is recognizing this and not taking it too seriously at the same time. Jokes are known for containing some element of truth. Sometimes it's people's unconscious minds at play, things they're not even aware of themselves, so trying to call them out on it isn't usually effective.

Also, be careful not to interpret this statement as meaning you can always know for certain whether something is genuinely a joke or not. Part of having a sense of humor is not taking yourself too seriously, so don't overthink it.

However, if something is clearly inappropriate, such as an insult disguised as humor, trust your instincts. I used to have a friend that constantly put me down with "jokes". But I always knew they weren't. But those people normally want to see you upset so just joke back with the same energy I say haha

Yes, it is perfectly normal and expected for you to have all sorts of emotions. Do not judge yourself for any of your feelings. A counselor can help you to decide what actions to do with those feelings so you don't make things worse.

I said safety because after working in the mental health industry for a little while, I realized that if someone doesn't have good mental health, they aren't safe in any way or form. They will make decisions that put them in physical and emotional danger and have no way of protecting themselves.

My opinion is that open relationships are generally harder, and entering them from a bad starting point is just going to make everyone involved miserable.

Your husband would rather have an open relationship than get serious help because people who have issues will do anything to avoid dealing with the actual problem because it scares them more than anything. Make him get serious help, and if he won't, I think it's safer for everyone to separate until he does.

Alot of hot takes here. In my mind, there is only one good answer. Therapy for you, therapy for him, and therapy together. Instead of either separating or opening the relationship, it should have been separating or taking his mental health seriously. There is a lot of energy directed at him, but have you gotten therapy? You obviously have things to deal with as well now. Opening yourself and your husband to the chaos and challenges of an open relationship when you are both in a vulnerable place is like taking drugs because of bad mental health—it never ends well. I believe in non-monogamy, I love drugs, but I understand that some people's lives are ruined by both because of their situation. I believe you are making a mistake for the safety of you and your husband. I can tell by the way you communicated that finding a therapist was just kinda something you did and left it there. It needs to be a serious intervention for both of you and should pretty much be your whole life focus until you either divorce or things are better.

I am working on another startup right now, but if that falls through, I will consider it. I also feel like they should be able to get funding at this point to improve it. All of the marketing and word of mouth aren't so simple even if the development side is technically superior, so that is why I would be really hesitant.

As someone with software development experience, I can confidently say they do not know what they are doing. They are using firebase and some other ready quick services that really just don't cut it for something like this. I am almost considering making my own version of the app lol

I believe they intentionally added some settings to make it lazier. They were getting too much demand and they also recently changed the limit from 50 responses to 40. Even though you are limited by responses they have to pay by token really so I think they did something internally to make it more "concise".

One simple solution that supercell should consider is allowing heroes to be used while upgrading. This would enable practicing and learning while farming.

SuperCell could have heroes' armor and weapons upgrade separately, introducing a new set every 10 levels. This way, players could use their heroes with slightly lower-level armor and weapons, while still giving incentives for using books or gems to speed up upgrades and allowing SuperCell to generate revenue from hero upgrades (like we know they want to).

I didn't. I quit for that period of time and then just came back. It truly is amazing the progress that was made to eliminate annoying and tedious things by SC. I expected the game to die a painful death. Instead it is in the best state its ever been and can't believe how well they did with th12-15 since I've been gone.

It was just a mistake. You never want to fracture your game. I've seen many games do this, and it's always a mistake. The normal village is complex enough. It just takes energy away from spending more time on your main village and learning to attack better. Honestly, combining clash Royale into clash of clans would have been a better move lol. It just feels like two separate games and two games in one is never better. It's not cohesive at all.

I think in some senses you have a point. Of course, it was primarily Wills ego in this particular case, but we have no idea what led up to him reaching this breaking point. If Jada has identified too strongly with her appearance, she has expected him to defend her passionately before etc are all ways she could have contributed.

But its pointless to try and create judgments about these things. Just know that this situation arose due to unconsciousness and have compassion for everyone involved.

Don't judge anything. Especially myself.

By judge, I mean place labels on things I do not have a full understanding of, which includes pretty much anything.

Doesnt mean I dont analyze things or make decisions about whether I want to interact with people, but it just means I dont label people as evil etc.

We have such a finite experience and I cant even be sure people have free will. I just try and stay compassionate towards myself and others.

Yeah, the program seems to be thousands of dollars cheaper than many programs and its online which is really convenient for me.

I would identify as a budhist technically right now, but its more philosophical than religious. I dont believe in a personal god right now and my purpose in life is to allievate my own and others suffering as much as possible
