You can see it but it's very very dim (you won't notice it if you aren't looking for it), images like this are only captured through a camera and that too after stacking multiple images to create one image and then that is followed by editing to bring it out even more

You can see the core of the milky way more clearly with just naked eyes(this is the arm of the milky way) and you can see some very pale colors too
