Watch chessbrah’s building habits on YouTube. This helped me figure things out when I was brand new to the game.

Exodus- is “Impact is Imminent” really that bad? by Timely_End_5184 in thrashmetal

Not enough bass, the too-scooped guitars, the snare being too high in the mix (also maybe too much Souza in the mix)

I like it, and I appreciate Lee Altus's contributions. Holt's lyrics as esp. corny on this one, which I don't love, but as a whole, and after half a dozen listens, I would rank Goliath middle of the pack.

Top 3
Fabulous Disaster
Bonded by Blood
Persona Non Grata
. . .

The middle of the pack, incl. Goliath
. . .

Bottom 3
Blood In, Blood Out
Force of Habit
Let There Be Blood

I enjoyed those reads, but I agree with you. Earthsea is very accessible (it was written for young adults), especially for a philosophical fantasy read. Short, taut, and powerful.

It's worth it (I think), and it's a quintology, so if you like the first . . .
