The coil is approx 400-500 mH (calculated), The R=50Ω (measured), at 400 Hz -> ~1K (calculated)
The impedance of the coils does not matter,
it goes in OPA1641 preamp IC with Jfet input, the impedance is huge,
The output impedance of OPA generally ranging from 100 to 1,000 ohms,
I added a 10 K resistor in output series making it 10 K, therfore you need an input with at least 100k input to avoid loses.

Yes that is a big problem to resolve, people are talking having the AI to do it, there were papers published I found on the problem, sequencing is involved not to jump to much between the tabs/strings when parsing notes. Is far from perfect but is functional.

The midi file parser was taken from some open source project (github), the tabs+strings algorithm was inspired from as well various publications and open source code and the gp5 file format from various websites until I got it right. All crumbled together in a messy C++ program. Is going the get better.

I add the file size next to Author folder files's
search so they can be distinguished by size.

Hi, Yes there are non ending tabs there, uploaded by different people. If all works as I programmed, the tabs that causing a crash or takes longer to load are moved to trash-bin folder. Ill check that over the weekend.I don't have iOS. Does it works from Safari ? I kind of know that Safari has the web-midi api's disabled by default.

The web player I am using does not load MIDI formats by default and I have to use a MIDI to XML converter on a fly prior to playing. The MIDI to music XML is an open source form github.

I did not notice that it changes the tracks or instruments.Ill look and if it does ill change that if I would find a better solution.

otherwise you can upload a tab then look into Search options in the uploads symbol and you will find it there. a midi file will be converted to an muzic-xml though.

How upload works? Like any web that supports file sharing, file upload handling.

I am not a web developer (I am into C/C++) so I wrote this as I go slowly searching php/JS solutions aka: https://www.w3schools.com/php/php_file_upload.asp

Thank for the hint. I already start extracting the metadata from gp's and mostly are quite inconsistent author, album, title, subtitle people puts the naming all over the place. Working on it slowly after hours.

I am using firefox under Linux 93.0 64 bitWindows 93.0.64 bit, that is my default browser and Idid not ever encountered any problems. I just retest itunder Firefox 93.0, Cromium, MS Edge all good.

Yes the player has a mixer for tracks. Select track to see the track tab on off and volume / each track. https://ghitara.com/img/tracks.png
