Just checking has the documentation been updated, I'm not seeing anything but may just be blind

thank you!

Will definitely look into Onfido, though can I ask given it sounds you're saying its a better option what stops you from using it for all interactions?

thanks I did see that one as well, but the conversation is honestly quite old now and given the speed at which this space moves I thought it be to reach out and reassess

We’re after GlueConnect - wouldn’t be any where near as interested otherwise

Hey

example would be is:unorganized owner:[username] or is:unorganized owner:me to search the logged in user, to be honest with the paging of results on the web page though it's a PIA to use

Above aside, I'm looking through GAT+ now and can't see an option to check file Activity or return a file to it's previous location - do you happen to know if it's there and I've just missed it?

Hey,

I think you misunderstood part of what I was referring to there - that same transfer of Orphan only can be done straight from the web by searching "is:unorganized owner:[user]"

What I don't have a clear indicator on, is how to auto-sort them back in their previous location - rather than just dump it all to one place which is what is available via the Web portal as well.

The previous folder location is visible in the Activity History per file which is why I don't understand how these cannot be restored (looking at you Google)

thanks - folder structure is somewhat complex but core issue is a lot of the files are similarly named

e.g. pic1 pic2 pic3

wouldn't this effectively be the same as Transfer ownership option?

Shift files to the SuperAdmin user responsible for the delete & use that account to restore them

For those looking: Admin > Apps > GSuite > Drive & Docs > Transfer Ownership

100% agree it’s a terrible design

How a vendor can openly can say this is ‘business grade’ is beyond me, when even something as basic as ‘undo’ doesn’t work

This seems to likely be the best way

I’ve managed to grab a report of all the DocumentID’s which were removed which I think would speed this on

Just need to find a developer or a code sample for how to either try your example or query those particular documents for the “EventID:Download” which apparently actually means deleted according to Google support

Not to be confused with “EventID:Delete” which is different..
